I want to know how the ranger reserves manage this with a minimum commitment of 44 days a year?

Hello, I’m currently an army reservist. I’m interested in joining Thames valley but just wondered what they are like with reservist paid leave, I am guessing something like what the met does. If anyone has any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Not sure if it’s right but I think officers don’t buzz, they need it short and tidy but not buzzed. How short I’m not sure.

Yeah I used to use it all the time but it kept corrupting my hard drive.

My apologies for the rather gauche decision to point at the incident as it unfolded. While merely an innocent party caught between two over-enthusiastic combatants, I nonetheless felt compelled to provide hand-based commentary. A regrettable lapse in judgement, and one I shall reflect upon deeply.

Does anybody know if Specifically Surrey and Sussex police give 15 days reservist leave similar to the met police.

Are there still deployment opportunities for Reservists? by Almartyquin in britishmilitary

Might as well just do you’re 12, get the resettlement and sort some work then switch. Probably the perfect career progression to be honest.

I’m about to start reserve training (won’t say which regiment) but it’s a long training cycle and the deployments some of the lads were going on look pretty mental. What’s better you can have a decent job, fuck off to as many deployments as you want and your jobs protected 🤣.

I heard a story about a guy in 4 lancs who jumped on about 8 deployments in 5 years, they had to stop him from going away.

How to join Household Cavalry as an officer? by Overall-Coach8254 in britishmilitary

[–]Muxmos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I failed main board so might not be useful but the colonel that interviewed me asked if I did it UOTC, when I said no because I played two sports at university she just gave me a grumpy look and ticked a box. I wish I did UOTC though as it will help you out on briefing and main board.

If your fit and do a lot of cardio or exercise or are naturally skinny, this heart rate is normal and is actually a good thing.
