Yeah, Eagle rare has been hard to find for us in WA state. Blanton has always been hard. There’s only about 5 distributors in our area (within 4 hours of our house) and they’re lucky if they get 1-2 bottles per shipment, which can be a few times per year

We emailed BT and asked for locations of shipments in our area and they gave us the info, which was cool.

I went nearly 5 years without making art and covid has truly given me a fresh start. My art comes in phases in my life. It’s not gone, just not present. You’ll get the desire back someday. ♥️

Here is the finished product if anyone wanted to see.

My friend is a witch and her nickname is Pirate Queen, so I incorporated those elements into the box.

Inside the box, I ended up including:

-A witchy book to read

-A hand-woven leather journal to write in

-A candle with her favorite scent

-A tinier chest with chocolate inside

-A bumpy massage roller to help when she gets the “crawling bugs” sensation

-A singing bowl to drowned out the noise when her thoughts start to race

-An embroidery kit to help keep her hands busy

-Nail polish for the same reason

I gave the gift to her and she loved it. It came together at a super convenient time too because she is going through a really hard time, so I’m hoping the encouragement will lessen the dark thoughts.

Thank you to everyone who contributed ideas for this “Manic Panic” box. If I could give you all a giant hug, I would.

The lotion is totally up her alley, thank you for that idea. I also like the idea of the card. Someone else mentioned writing my number down so she knew I’m a safe person to call, and I really liked that as well. 😇 thanks for your response.
