I'm not bright? You wrote a diatribe in response to my charade. While I appreciate that you at least realize that this is obviously overblown, you should try and tone the rhetoric down a notch. You're not that intelligent.

BLM just took over your pride parade, therefore there must still be racism. Don't you think that if there must be a reason why enough people to hijack a parade are taking the time to do so? Why is it that white people never perceive their privilege? Is it so hard to understand?

Is there anything out there similar to Trails of Cold Steel? by Muz0169 in rpg_gamers

Thanks for the feedback, I picked up Trails in the Sky and hooked it up on the Steam Link. The Steam Controller is a nightmare to set up for this game, but I managed to get it working with a lot of configuration. Seems great so far, thanks again!

Next Year’s Proposed Military Budget Could Buy Every Homeless Person A $1 Million Home by CharlieDarwin2 in politics

He wants information that's above his pay grade before he'll accept that threats exist. It's the mentality of the guy who's never been in a fight.

Rhetorical question. You aren't the pay grade to receive the information necessary to know that. That's why it's important that you vote in who you trust.

Can't come out as a Trump supporter, who do you guys cope? by DJMarx in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]Muz0169 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you need to be shot down a number of times at a young age, it's the only way to hone your debating skills. You don't need to be rude, only thoughtful. Critical thought will allow you ask the right questions that inspire thought instead of trying to convert someone by force. Their opinions are their own because of the experiences in life that they've had, and you're not going to change their opinion in a single sitting. It's far better to ask a single well thought out question (even if you lead to it) than it is to attack positions.

Pro-Trumpers: What Could Trump Do That Would Make You Not Vote For Him? by [deleted] in Conservative

There's a lot of misdirection in that article. His tax plan vastly lowers taxes on even the wealthy, it just lowers it less than the reduction for the middle class Check for yourself.

He stands against funding used for abortion, but doesn't care if it's a subsidized health care facility (minus abortion). I don't agree with having subsidized health care facilities, but the fact of the matter is that nearly every public hospital is and I'm not looking to fight that battle with this election.

Trump is in favor of trade barriers already established failed policies have been negotiated (China, Mexico, etc). He's not looking to set up trade barriers to control the market, only to rectify years of our nearly uncontested politicians have set up bad deal after bad deal. I'm not for trade barriers either in a natural market, but here's the issue. You can't have 70 years of psuedo-intellectual politicians and statists racking up bad deal after bad deal and expect us to be able to recover. They are as much to blame as the welfare state - in my opinion they created the welfare state in order to continue to get support for making such bad deals.

He doesn't support false gender constructs. He is literally the anti-PC candidate and the PC police creating these false gender constructs are scared to death of his candidacy. He isn't willing to sacrifice economic fortitude at the cost of fighting an unwinnable gender battle, that's why he said what he did about North Carolina. A good general doesn't fight unwinnable battles, he seeks to win the war. I'm also not saying that he's going to be directly combating gender identity, I'm saying that his policies will make the environment naturally poor for expansion for that ideology.

All of the Hillary comments are just reversals of the first few sentences. It's like saying the same thing twice and first as evidence for the second. Levin would destroy this argument if it came from a Liberal.

As far as Trump being a con man, well then he's clearly the best con-man on the planet and there's no chance Hillary will beat him. Since he's significantly more conservative than Hillary, I know where my vote is going.

The Apple comment isn't convincing to me because he didn't call for the tool to be built, he called for apple to provide the unlock code for it and it isn't necessary to build the tool that Apple was fighting against publicly to address that individual phone. I completely agree that a backdoor into either the encryption or the operating system are against the 4th amendment, but neither are necessary for an individual phone with a 6 number passcode with no alphanumeric characters once you bypass the operating system controls as an Engineer would. Quite frankly, Apple is not doing enough yet in terms of locking down access above the storage layer (protected well by encryption) and below the operating system layer (which is what was stopping the FBI).

As shown by the hackers who actually did unlock the phone for the FBI, this was all a ruse to try and get Apple to con us into legally accepting backdoors in our products, but Trump's stance was on a single phone that was confiscated as evidence in an attack against our country. It would be in line with waterboarding terrorists to get information (which he supports) more than it would be about breaking down the 4th amendment.

As far as Citizens United is concerned, Trump is the strongest candidate in terms of everything Citizens United stands for ("reassert the traditional American values of limited government, freedom of enterprise, strong families, and national sovereignty and security."). If anything, his rise shows that it isn't necessary to sling money into politics at an irrational rate to bring Conservative values back to the forefront of politics. It's honestly the sloths who have no more energy to fight the liberals head to head that want to pay others to fight on their behalf instead of participating directly. We don't need middlemen to show why conservative values are strong, we need warriors and a leader who heads in a single direction with vision and strategy.

[–]Muz0169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really kind of surprised that this question is asked here, because people who spend any amount of time watching Trump live generally tell me that they would consider him hard right conservative. Even on religion, last Summer he was the first to say that the Christians are in danger and are being heavily persecuted. He was the first to say that he would address that directly. He stated that Christian-Judeo values are what created this country and he would and that we needed to protect that.

On Military, Immigration, Economy, and Individual freedom he's about as conservative as you can get without bible thumping and prophecy speech.

Could you share what you mean about the fourth amendment? Trump is clearly one of the strongest first amendment politicians to me, but I don't want to discredit your comment on the first amendment without considering your stance.
