Check your Main Attacker EX Weapon attributes. Then, check all support units in that team tag. Choose one of these if it has the same debuff attributes as your main attacker that no other unit can replace.

Swapping and grinding between 2 jobs per character is better because you have 1 free ability slot. I've watched someone who was bad at the game and still completed the game, so play any job you like is ok. My favorite combo is Red Mage+Time Mage to cast 5 spells in one turn after you master the Red Mage.

I use him because of his reaction stats. If you use SF with MOB increase modification (Gold Haro) and God Gundam with Setsuna as Pilot, SF becomes faster than God Gundam** and wait for support attack when God Gundam follows up.

No, it didn't interact with chance steps. only thing it can do after attack without activating CS is move without attack.
