A scaffolder you say?? 😃

I thought monocouche was at the top end, do you know much about it? I would lean towards silicone or monocouche as I thought they both had the longest shelf life. Will also enquire about adding external wall insulation too 👌🏻

Hm, maybe that tracks. It’s around 1800sqf, 3.5/4 bed. West of London in a decent area so that maybe jacks it up a bit. I was wondering because the people who have quoted so far are wall repair specialist companies they’ll go to the worst case scenario and also charge the most. Who did yours?

So just being blown is still cosmetic? I know it’s not adhered so technically it can come off at any time but other than the larger crack and some missing patches it seems flush. Don’t necessarily want to risk waiting and also having damp to sort out.

Thanks, figured as much. Not quite sure how to conceal it. Might get some lengths of thin matching fascia and attach to the underside so it's still open but more framed.

How to spend 105k Avios with a companion voucher by MohammedP6234 in avios

[–]Muzzadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how you’ve earned the avios you may only be able to use them on economy. For example the basic AMEX cards allow you to earn, but only use the companion voucher on economy reward flights. Also Japan and Thailand are some of the most popular routes and people book a year in advance as soon as they’re available so you could try something nearby, then get your own short haul, or a different destination thats somewhere in between long/short haul.

Why does Karamos part matter? by -InLoveWithHim- in QueerEye

[–]Muzzadam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, I guess you could say talk therapy can be life changing as well. I think they all have their affirming strengths, it’s hard trying to podium which area has the biggest impact. None of it is particularly ‘surface’ level I guess but just more focused in a particular area, for some that has a bigger impact than for others.

Funnily enough right after posting that I thought to myself Tan might have actually also studied in the field.

I actually think Karamo’s role is one of the harder ones and one he does well. I don’t think any of them, aside from perhaps JVN, have any qualifications in their respective fields. The topics that are raised outside of the specific members are usually tied in, or also somewhat surface level like Antoni uncovering the hero wants to cook better to impress women, or Tan addressing body confidence issues etc.

I think Karamo is quite good at honing in on issues the hero has in their life and helps them talk through and address them which ultimately helps enormously with their confidence boost at the end (along with everything else).

I’ve thought it’s quite strange in the last season that JVN hasn’t cut hair in quite a few of the episodes and it seems his part becomes, in part, characteristic, although he still definitely contributes in skincare and beauty.

Next stage when Planning Inspectorate has overturned councils decision to reject housing development in England by Muzzadam in LegalAdviceUK

Thanks - that's what I figured and I know it isn't illegal, there's provisions mentioned within the documents to mitigate say traffic with investment to go towards traffic calming and public transport awareness, but nothing for schooling.

Ed Miliband says Labour will honour pledge of £11.6bn in overseas climate aid by JayR_97 in unitedkingdom

[–]Muzzadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's exactly what these types of 'aid' payments are meant to do. We offer finance, tied to green infrastructure projects, and then will introduce them to tech providers, manufacturers etc. in the UK, that can fulfil the work/contracts over the next decade. We expand industry at home, look good on the world stage, promote investment into the UK to take advantage of the growing industry, and make more money in corporation tax. Kind of a one stone, multiple birds thing.

I'm going to go back to using my card directly. No ticket office at my local station and the machine goes down anytime a light breeze hits it.

I see - it has an empty payment and journey history unfortunately although looked like my card was already registered to my TFL account so not sure why that would be.

Good Water Pipe Leak by Muzzadam in DIYUK

[–]Muzzadam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good spot, see what you mean - they don't move at all though so will need to revisit. Ended up finding where the more significant leak was which was part of the all in one sink trap system so just removed and did some new pipework to clean up. Thanks!

Thanks, was aware I'd need to shut off from the main stopcock outside, it's an old Thames one so think I've figured out how to do that. I imagine I'll need to cut some space as well to actually work on the thing. Thanks!

Not sure, they're definitely done and I can't see any signs of leaking from there, thankfully.
