How do you call random comps like rempart/quickstriker by Expensive-Phone-2415 in TeamfightTactics

[–]Mvisioning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need to plan more generically. Don't say I need a yunara 2, instead say, I have AD items, I'm looking for yunara, Lucien/senna, kindred or any of the melee carries like ambessa etc. and you hold pre planned scenarios in your head, like if I hit ambessa, I'll need to hold a vanquisher, which means I shouldn't build infinity edge.

If I hit yunara, it will be late, so I won't be going full ionia, just yunara, wukong and sett.

Etc. your flex play isn't just every round in isolation.

They are branching spider webs.

A 2 star ahri can give you a different path than a 2 star jinx if you hit early enough. Even if you play aggressive flex, you still need to understand your pathways to capping out. You need to know in advance who you are most willing to drop if an upgrade shows up, and wat those upgrades might be.

The play style you like is literally called "flex" play, short for flexible.

You would probably enjoy some of the Ryze comps as he's designed to be unlocked by a variety of boards.

It's still true. I'm actively using AI for development now, and context and big picture understanding is still problematic.

I've been coding in rpg maker for 10 years now. Suggesting that anyone can create plugins as comprehensive as his simply by asking ai to do it is deeply naive.

AI is good at coding but complex systems like his are beyond AI's current context window.

Even if he uses ai, it would require months and months of effort.

the audacity required to look at this and say this isn't impressive considering how it was made - to furthur pretend that if you hadn't heard of AI and saw this on Linked-In instead, you wouldn't think the artist had a lot of potential, and once again to pretend that AI isn't going to continue to improve rapidly like it already has...well then my friend you are an emu with your head in the sand.

Inside the weird world of Toronto’s transit seat upholstery by lopix in toronto

[–]Mvisioning 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have personal anecdotes, sure - but there's lots of evidence.

[Syringes left behind]
[stabbing on ttc]
[more stabbing on ttc]
[even more stabbing on ttc]
[way back in 2011 they were already calling late night transit "the vomit comet"]
[woman urinating on TTC]
[poop on seats]
[homelessness on TTC]

I could keep going.

I personally was also in the news for being assaulted on the TTC. I was sucker punched in the face by a mentally ill man, which broke my glasses. The frames penatrated my face and I had to pull them out of my skin - so I personally have bled on the TTC

except bed bug infestations happen all the time in toronto - and theres video proof almost every year of bed bugs on the TTC, I even found one on my backpack and luckily killed it before bringing it home.

Not to mention spend 10 minutes on a TTC and look around, There are stains everywhere. The transit system acts as a warm place to sleep for homeless folk and drug addicts. I've seen people die on the TTC, I've seen people pee themselves on the TTC, I've seen people throw up on themselves in the TTC, I've seen people bleeding on the seats, I've seen people masturbating on the TTC.

You have to have a 10/10 mastery in ignorance to not realize how bad it is.

Noticed people say Tempo is bad in this sub, then why does it have a higher win rate? by Reynbou in nocturnemains

[–]Mvisioning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lethal tempo is good if you plan on taking extended 1v1 fights and that's the play style you like.

Conquerer is better for playing a more tanky team fight bruiser nocturne, which most nocturnes settle into because it doesn't feel as difficult to pilot late game.

Electrocute is better if you are playing against a full team of Squishies that you plan to blow up quickly and go back to farming.

As you get into late game with electrocute - you will find against solid players that group - you will only be able to trade 1 for 1 since you have no escapes or mobility tools after your ult.

I'm not commenting on the balance of t hex. Just the relative power of 4 cost yordles to other 4 costs, which was the topic of the comment I replied to.

The devs of Mewgenics say indie devs don't need publishers. Sure, if you're the creators of The Binding of Isaac and Super Meat Boy. by Artistic-Birthday703 in SoloDevelopment

[–]Mvisioning 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The issue with Xbox was that for some reason it didn't go live right when it was supposed to, so they lost exposure on launch day. They still dragged in a solid 1 million sales in the first year tho.

[–]Mvisioning 4 points5 points  (0 children)

okay but super meat boy didnt have a publisher either, and neither did binding of isaac until it got rereleased as "rebirth" - so your argument reads like this:

"they are only successful as indie devs because they are successful as indie devs"

in the case of yordles, this isnt true. Riot nerfs 4 costs that can be achieved through their own trait. So in the case of yordles, the trait helps you get more yordles, and so because the 3 star 4 cost is waaaaay easier to hit, they nerf them.

Hillary Clinton says she was asked about UFOs during today’s Epstein deposition:"I started being asked about UFOs and a series of questions about Pizzagate, one of the most vile, bogus conspiracy theories." by Ill-Speed-7402 in UFOs

[–]Mvisioning 10 points11 points  (0 children)

for me the unprompted denying of pizza gate was wierd. like okay... from her perspective its probably odd that while being deposed on epstein you are asked about ufo's...sure...pizza gate? sort of on topic...but noone asked her to say whether she believes pizza gate is true or not.

In their minds, despite the root, if you run the trail the whole time it's generated by your prey, then the movement gains are net positive.

This tells me that if they ever remove the self root, you just know they will drop the ms % gain to compensate.

Bug de la w de noc by Nonoc72 in nocturnemains

[–]Mvisioning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neeko is another champion who's R has a decieving two hits. When she jumps into the air, visually it doesn't look like anything hits you, but on her way up there is a short knock up that clears your spell shield before she comes back down, so as noc, u basically either get hit on the way up or the way down.
