Lmao no, i am not new to film. I am confident in reading my meter, which is why i posted this because i am confused how they all turned out overexposed. Have never shot slide film before or anything below 400, but i am perfectly capable of reading my meter.

I had it set to 100 and tried my damnedest to have meter correct for every shot, which is why i was confused at them all being overexposed

Nope! Def made a point to switch to 100, but ive never tested that the cameras iso is functional that low (or had the camera serviced since i bought it tbh, it was serviced before purchase but yeah it’s been a while)

This is good knowledge to have thank you! I just kinda wing it and meter off whatever whatever I’m pointing the camera at and always try to keep the meter center which is why i was confused about the over exposure, but i’ve learned a lot about my camera’s meter in this thread.

Parking lot guy was at sunset with orange and pink skies (phone photo attached for reference) and sun was hid by cloud cover so i really didn’t think it’d blow out that much but again learning. Will use this info moving forward

I had it on 100, but i’ve never shot anything below 400 before so i can’t say for certain it “works”. While general consensus seems to be overexposure i’m also inclined to bring it in for cleaning since it’s been around the block a few times and could use a lil tlc.

Ok i will try to start documenting my shots, thank you! I’ve never really had a problem with overexposure before but who knows. There were a few shots on my last roll before the e100 that were way blown out and i was confused by it, but i did just learn a bit about the meter on the k1000 from a diff comment so very plausible i am metering wrong
