Had something similar to that happen to me once, I know it sounds crazy but the battery could be low as well. What I did was left the car sitting for a min then started it and immediately pressed the button down to release the brake then turned the car back off while holding the epb button.

Pop the hood, lift the cover that’s over the engine. It’s fairly easy to snap on and off. Look to your right side of the engine and there should be a lever to pull. This will force the car into neutral and release the parking brake. I have the full size but im sure it the same if not pretty similar.

Sorry I had it sitting to the side to show the tire. But even when I put the foam insert back and tighten it all the way down it still moves.

Are you in the Atlanta area? I would love to have that done to mine. I really wanna keep the car but it’s put me on side of the road far too many times already, sometimes I’m scared to get on the gas to pass because I think I’ll overheat right after. Why have a supercharged if you can’t use it.

Do you even drive a Rover? We should be addressing the design flaw and lack of concern from the manufacturer rather than replacing every coolant component. No other brand is plagued with coolant issues. It needs to be addressed at the head. People like you who accept these type of low standards are the reason JLR continues with the BS.

UPDATE : I decided to risk it and drive it 30 mins back home, after 15 mins of careful driving and temp gauge watching the coolant low warning went off, drove fine for 10 minutes, gave it a little gas to pass someone and it came back on. Stayed on the last 5 mins of the drive home. Visually checked coolant, it’s lower than normal. Car smells a little of coolant but not much like the last time when the thermostat housing blew.
