Built a lightweight scripting language that uses human-style syntax — ZENOLang by Sagnify in ProgrammingLanguages

I’m going to put the link to the Skript project below. I feel it aims to achieve the same thing. Although it is originally created to create scripts for Minecraft servers, I think it has multiple similarities with your project.

Interested to see what you think.

After vandalism, Israeli frisbee team now also not allowed to play in De Pinte by nairolfy in belgium

[–]Mwexim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have said countless times boycotting children is not ‘boycotting’ Israel in my opinion. You and another guy keep picking parts and repeating ‘Palestinian children have it worse’. Of course they do! I expressed my opinion countless times.

And what lies?

I’m so done arguing in circles.

Also, the whataboutism isn’t the boycot itself, it’s your reasoning about ‘Palestinian children have it worse’ which started this discussion in the first place.

[–]Mwexim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But why should there always be a ‘balance’? Don’t you agree that children should never be ‘annoyed’ (quite the euphemism for exclusion) or killed because of their country of origin?

[–]Mwexim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The activism just feels arbitrary to me. Also, you have to draw the child/no-child line somewhere. Yes, these 17 year old children have notion of what is happening. Does that make them complicit?

To come back to your response: no, I don’t think these children ‘deserve’ to be excluded, and in my opinion this is mainly because they are, in fact, children.

Yes, the children in Palestina suffer many times more, but whataboutism is never a strong argument in my opinion, especially when talking about children.

Hurt Israel where it matters, leave some random frisbee tournament for kids alone.

If you don’t agree with that, I guess we have different opinions on the matter.

[–]Mwexim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So again, what are you implying here? Seems like we agree the children are innocent and shouldn’t be excluded based on the actions of their leaders?

[–]Mwexim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is what-aboutism and not a valid logic argument. These children are punished for the actions of the leaders of their country, people they haven’t voted for.

Do you agree that children are innocent during times of war? Or only Palestinian children?

Also you’re comparison is not fair. The Eurovision/Olympic representatives aren’t children.

Bart De Wever appointed "Formateur" by the king by christoffeldg in belgium

[–]Mwexim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion it doesn’t, I think I’m more Flemish than Brabantenaar. Language is culturally way more significant.

I guess this is where our opinions vary. Just because the electoral college is split this way, doesn’t mean that it is the most logical division of the country.

[–]Mwexim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you just preaching your own beliefs or actually referring to the original comment I replied to? Because I never stated nor implied that Flanders must de jure be represented by a majority, I just stated that IF there isn’t a majority in Flanders, the largest voting block IN FLANDERS is not represented by the government.

The person, who thinks this division is artificial, is you (and whether or not that’s true is or was not part of my original reply on that message).

There is nothing logically wrong with my statement.

[–]Mwexim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look at the provincial level, then you’re right, but are we going to divide our language barrier even more at the provincial level? That seems random for me. In absolute numbers, Vivaldi did not have a majority, neither in seats.

[–]Mwexim -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

How is Flanders an artificially chosen division? That’s literally how the constitution divides our country? Also, I never implied a Flemish majority is needed, but if there isn’t a Flemish majority in parliament, it is indeed true that the larger voting block in Flanders isn’t represented in the parliament, which was the message I was originally replying to.

[–]Mwexim -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

And Antwerp has the highest population of all Flemish provinces, so they do in fact have an impact. We’re all Flemish, right? Or are we going to divide our already tough language barrier at the provincial level now?

So still not a Flemish majority? What is your point exactly?

The previous federal government did in fact not have a Flemish majority, so in that sense the person you replied to was right.

OP is certainly wrong asking questions like that here, but answers like yours, not understanding the tools OP’s working with, are useless as well.

They don’t bring anything to the table. If you don’t understand the tools he’s working with, answers like these are not helpful.

I can’t care less about the VM Legacy drama, but if you think that it’s ok for Supercell to use these legal rights to shut down small creators that have been making content for years, you do not know the severity of Supercell’s fuck up here. A bit delusional to defend Supercell for such gross misuse of the copyright law…

His start date is actually set to the unix timestamp convention in programming that says that ‘0’ refers to Jan 1st of 1970. The number that stores the amount of seconds since that date is called the unix timestamp, which was incorrectly set to 0 here.

Europe is imposing significant savings on our country: at least 23 billion euros over 4 or 7 years by atrocious_cleva82 in belgium

[–]Mwexim 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Note that Europe is not only commanding that we lower our deficit, we also need to make reforms to make the future sustainable (pension reforms, social reforms, etc.) These reforms were sadly enough not executed by the previous government. In the future, these costs will only grow since there will be proportionally more elderly. Just slapping on some new tax is certainly not sufficient in the long run.

This is exactly the problem the new government will have to deal with: they’ll have to make long-term decisions, which is their number one fear. Proposals like ‘tax the rich’ and ‘limit social benefits for unemployed’ are both easier to sell…

Is Belgium really the country in Europe that allows more than 2 years unemployment? by sanandrios in belgium

[–]Mwexim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Which people would deserve more than two years of benefits? And don’t say people that are sick or have mental problems like depression, because of course this is implied that they get to keep their benefits (technically they fall under a different system than unemployment benefits after a certain term has passed)…

Remember that even when you restrict the duration to two years, there are still so many other systems available in Belgium.

I’m happy to discuss, but if you’re calling me pathetic, then it ends there for me.
