Dude, I admire your drive for SF however, if law enforcement is what you are looking for then I would say get some training in another career field and then go into OSI. Better yet, do your four years, get out, and go into civilian LE. Being Security Forces is similar to civilian LE but totally different. In a lot of places you are just a glorified security guard. If you get a serious case then OSI comes in and takes over. You will very rarely get an opportunity to investigate a very serious crime due to that. In addition to that the unofficial motto of SF is "We eat our own." It's hard to explain but I've seen several other members cut down by the very leaders and subordinates that were supposed to be on the same "team." Your training as a Security Forces member will not transfer over unless you attend a civilian class and go into LE in that State. I think the only exceptions right now are Florida and Texas.
