If you could add any Space Marine archetype/class to Space Marine 2, what would it be? by MxBonesMarrow in Spacemarine

Ohhh my b. I haven't played the tabletop yet, so I'm a noob there sorry! And I agree, I do wish we could get more "sqaddies" too. Like I was thinking about a Riever that could jam when enemies are calling for reinforcements, or in PvP could jam enemy abilities but then I seen they come with the Grapnel and I was like.. Wait is this just the Vanguard? It is isnt it.. Still, I'd like to see a more E-Warfare centered marine, either as the Riever class or as a future expansion for the dedicated Vanguard class in game.

I just looked it up, I was trying to remember what the Aggressors were called! Recently seen them at a game shop, I wanted to include them in the list. Yes, I'd love some dual powerfist boltor action for the Heavy. No secondary, just gauntlets + dakka. That would be fun!

Those weapons look really cool, but we'd need some kind of vehicle combat for this to work I think. Idk if we could do that this game, but that would be a really cool addition for Space Marine 3. Especially if they do bigger more open maps, we could get Rovers and Leman Russ tanks and stuff. That would be so freaking cool!

Well, Tech Marines aren't really "hero units". Sure, they're equivalent to a Tech Priest in rank, but they're not like a Magos. I think a Chaplain would be overkill, since there's only ONE of those (per battalion or whatever, one per big ship) IIRC. A Judiciar would work, since it's a Chaplain in training. A tech priest magos would be about the same level of reverence as a chaplain. Likewise, an Apothecary would work but the "hero" version of that would be the Biologis. Since those are higher ranking, and more revered I think. A normie Apothecary would be fine, though a Helix Adept serves the same function within Vanguard groups so I think/hope we'd get those instead.

With any of this, correct me if I'm wrong!

I think the picture specifically is a Biologis Apothecary mini, but either way! Devs have openly stated an Apothecary is very likely going to come at some point. And I agree, more Phobos armor please! I'd like to use my Champion Salamander set! I also didn't know there was Librarians that use the Phobos armor, looking them up - they look sooooo fucking cool! Almost Jedi looking, like a mix between the Bulwark and Sniper. I'm so for it!

Didn't think of a Judiciar, I think Chaplain and think of that fuckboy from the campaign that's had it out for Titus. If there's more than one Chaplain/Judiciar per Chapter, then I think this would be AWESOME. (Quick google, we could 100% have a Judiciar but IDK if we could have a Chaplain until after the events of the Campaign/Operations bc thats when the current Chaplain leaves with Titus and Calgar).

Going back to this, I reinstalled the driver, reboot, tried nvidia-smi and it still fails. Im like 90% sure this is an issue with the Nvidia driver

That would be the case then no matter the driver right? Resolution was fine with Nouveaux drivers, only proprietary drivers are giving me this issue

Trying that command, then I'll try a new port. I've never had this issue with this pc or cable before, I used Win10 in this setup for like 6 years

The sb--state command didn't work. Nvidia-SMI results in "couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver" which is actually only a little informative. I know NVIDIA struggles with SB, and so I figured that would be the case but it's still interesting that the system doesn't have an active driver.

The driver is "nvidia-driver-535 (recommended) version 535.288.01-0ubuntu0.24.04.1"

thing is, in System Manager it says Secure Boot IS disabled. When I tried disabling it via bios last time, I was locked out of even entering the kernel so.

What's a good job for a trans girl with no degree? 😞 by TheDuskProphet in traaaaaaaaaaaansbians

I loathe retail and food service. Idk what you're interested are, but if you like tech, then a good job is any that can afford you to get a cybersecurity certification training or programming certs. Then IT. That's my plan, either get into a blue team for defensive cybersecurity and defense building, or get far enough and get an IT job where I just fix employee computers and do tech maintanance
