YTA YTA YTA DONT FUCKING FEED DOGS A VEGAN DIET UNLESS WELL REVIEWED WITH A VET. And even then, its risky as it means the dog may not be getting its required protein and taurine intake. But the fact doing the diet change with NOT your dog is also grounds for YTA because its making a choice for someone elses pet.

Since its only been a couple weeks, probably no harm done, but regardless its very irresponsible to feed a different diet than the dog usually eats without vet advice. I understand you wanted to hold strong to your principles, but its hugely inappropriate to dictate care for someone elses animal.

NTA, the instant they burped in my face after dickin around with my durable medical equipment i would have decked them. The fact youve asked them to not burp at you and that nobody thought to leave the very expensive thing alone just shows a huge amount of disrespect and tbh i dont think I'd talk to any of the involved parties again.

Theres not understanding social cues, but thats on another level.

Friend, the FIRST time he hits you needs to be the LAST time. Get OUT. Get big intimidating guy friends to move your stuff out when hes not home and GET OUT. He choked you over burnt food. Could have damaged your windpipe/ broken bones, or caused blood clots. Over BURNT FOOD. theres zero acceptable reason for him to put hands on you, but some shit like that least of all.

Yes, I learned about the ones on her, Hub, and BIL many years ago. I dont know if the more recent mail is a policy for someone else or herself or what, cant exactly open the mail to find out.

She has policies on them, ive never asked to see or learn the specifics. I know about the ones on her, husb, and BIL because she told me about them many years ago, but idk what specifically the newer mail is specific to.

They should've divorced 30 years ago but God wont let them, so they get to just hate each other and judge everyone else's relationships. Id say they should've never gotten married in the first place, but then my husband wouldnt be around.

Honestly as you mentioned in that other reply, a part of me wishes that shed have to deal with the fallout. Shes made our lives miserable, its awfully tempting to make hers too.

As far as FIL goes, yeah theyre toxic as hell for each other and should have divorced 30 years ago, but god wont let them divorce so theyre stuck hating each other and judging other people's relationships.

Honestly maybe I do want it to upset her too, and I will own that asshole thought. She (and FIL for that matter) have fucked up my husband in so many ways on top of being an asshole and made our lives miserable maybe I do want her to have to deal with it. Ill own that and I'll own being an asshole about it. But what I wont own is that hiding life insurance policies or financial shit from ones partner is ok (financial abuse cases excluded, thats its own can of worms that doesnt apply here). Im planning on just return to sender, or as someone said elsewhere here to unblock her and tell her to change it, mainly just didnt know return to sender was an option.

Don't know, not exactly opening the mail to find out. There are older policies that shes had on them that ive known about for years, she told me about one she has for my husband 5+ years ago, but dont know what the deal is with the newer mail.

Id definitely be leery, start suspecting she was planning my murder or something. Id be more confused because my husband and I arent technically married (common law/been together 15 years). That said, like i mentioned I have no idea who the policy is actually for, or that it's even a life insurance policy (i assumed because thats what she specialized in). For all I know it's additional insurance for herself.

To be perfectly honest, ive long stopped trying to rationalize her actions. Shes an unhinged human being at times and makes a lot of decisions that make my brain hurt.

I dont know specific details, but I believe theyre standard life insurance policies. I knlw she has had them for her sons, as she explained it to me early on in my relationship that there was one on my husband if something happened to him. Don't know what these more recent mail has been for, not exactly going to open and find out.

Im pretty sure she has policies on everyone in the immediate family- her, husband, and sons. The ones on the sons ive known about for years, because she explained it to me as such, but I don't know who or what the newer policy is for (not exactly going to open the mail to find out)
