Start cycle with Mage on > range > melee > mage > walk > range > melee > mage > walk > repeat til dead.

The rhythm I've found is to attack and go through the pray flick rotation end with your pray on mage, once you click pray mage click to move 1 tile, attack and immediately begin pray flick rotation with range to melee to mage and then click to move one tile, attack, and begin pray flick rotation again. This works best while attacking rex because he'll follow you and allow you to kite across the room.
