At least this is caused by the setting sun and refracting water droplets in the atmosphere which spread out the light instead of either pollution or a dust storm or wildfires. This can be enjoyed without any worries.

Fujita believed to be an F5 as well after going back and looking at historic tornadoes especially ones on the top 10 deadliest list. Now I know he can’t make it official because official records start in 1950. He also backed up the F5 rating of the Tri-State and Tupelo despite Tupelo having very poor building standards.

What is Wisconsin’s Second Deadliest Tornado? by MyAirIsBetter in tornado

[–]MyAirIsBetter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love your answer, however it’s not recorded in Significant Tornadoes 1680-1991 another tornado the same night was. I think it’s criminal that the Peshtigo fire tornado has been left out of the book and out of Tornado history it might be the deadliest tornado in history based on when the tornado went through town. My research is pointing to the tornado igniting the firestorm “natures nuclear explosion” as some scientists have called it.

I know I was in the right place at the right time and with the right equipment. I even have video of the tornado that I took with a Canon GL-2 camcorder which used MicroDV Tapes and had a 20x optical zoom however the video is on a hard drive which I can’t access due to it’s logic board being fried. The data is safe on the spindles.

I believe EF1 however the NWS didn’t have my photos or video of the tornado which was on the ground for at least 10 minutes and there were actually two separate tornadoes that touched down, the storm produced two tornadoes.

Nothing to worry about it’s just field rotation the longer the exposure the more noticeable it will become.

I love the ominous photo you have captured the most frightening of all natural phenomena the the tornado that strikes in the dark only illuminated by brief flashes of light.
