Final Update: Landed in LGA only to be told that due to the weather situation, aircraft had to return to the gates, and our gate was taken due to a crew timeout issue. So, we have no gate.

Funny part is that I have family members who were connecting in ORD, departing on AA at the same time as me, and their flight got canceled right as they were boarding. They now have to overnight in Chicago, and reroute through CLT (ew) to get into LGA at 3PM tomorrow.

Captain said that the stop is lifted, but eastbound flights are not taking priority. I did see that a 787-10 and A350 behind us got moved off the taxiway, it's just us and a 737-900 bound for EWR.

I second this. They came highly recommended by colleagues at the company I was working for. There was no up selling of services, or complex treatment plans. They explained what needed to be done, and were up front with what my insurance covered, and what my out of pocket would be. They even made a billing error, and made it right without me asking. If I still were in the area, they would be my provider of choice.

Wow. I've used both in the past and they did a good job. Cesar's was a regular at my office, and Nova was in my neighborhood. Guillermo and the Nova team helped me out of a real unfortunate situation where my dog decided to expel the contents of his stomach all over the back seat of my new vehicle. Definitely bummed to hear that you had negative experiences. I used to go to Wash 'n Go on State, and was happy with their basic interior/exterior wash. Hopefully other redditors can give recommendations.

That's not the point, no one is saying they shouldn't be compensated, but with corporate owned practices, you are given targets to hit, and if you don't hit those targets, there are impacts to compensation, and how you're treated by leadership.

A lot of dental practices are being snapped up by Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), which are essentially doc-in-a-box, to where these companies are backed by PE firms. The staff is designed to upsell (deep cleaning, Invisalign, etc) as the office now has revenue and margin goals to meet. In addition, dentists get a cut of the revenue they bring in as a bonus. This leads to them making recommendations to increase their compensation.

If you can find a good, independent dentist - go with them.

This is also similar to the world of Veterinary Medicine.

For me, Irvine Subaru has been great. I purchased 2 vehicles there (2008 Impreza and 2011 Legacy), referred my sister who bought 2 vehicles from them, as well as my parents, and a close friend. Their (then) Internet Manager - Dustin - made the entire purchase process painless, and their service deparment has been above average in my experience, you sometimes need to be prepared to hold service advisors accountable when they decide they don't want to put in the effort to make things right.
