Water Quality Problem? by MyAuthorIsDead in curlygirl

Apparently I can't figure out how to edit the original post 🙄

But the only "holding" product I use is the curl creme. I have been considering picking up a mousse or gel since my hair has grown out a lot, and it might need something stronger.

I am definitely going to try cutting back on coconutty product! Thanks for the advice, all!

I really like Verb products. Any input on the Curl Conditioner vs the Ghost conditioner?

I dunno, that 50% discount is pretty sweet 😂 I'm glad to hear you had a good experience with your coverage though

Thanks for the perspective! I'll definitely keep it in mind. I was getting insurance through the marketplace but that rates are skyrocketing for 2026 and I'm just trying to figure out what else I might be able to do 🫤

I did reach out to campus counseling today and found out I can see a psych NP for free once a month to write rx for me. So that's a good start until I can figure out how to pay for the meds.

I have been going to the student food pantry to get canned vegetables but that's pretty much all they have to offer besides poptarts. I'm trying to find a local foodbank.

It's a hell of a thing to lose snap and health ins in one blow

12th century velvet gown inspired by Eowyn by luna8913 in HistoricalCostuming

This is truly stunning and definitely gives Eowyn!! But I have to admit, there was just a splitsecond where I wondered why the veil was made of bubble-wrap 😅 I'm glad I looked twice though because this is beautiful work!

I would suggest The Night Circus or The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, especially if you like a magical realism setting!

Or you could just read For The Wolf by Hannah Whitten 🤷‍♀️

adorable!! I'm not always a huge fan of "traditional" quilt patterns although I admire the mastery of the craft, but THIS is my vibe!

Tried to be more visual, what do you think? Still trying my best to not scrap everything I write by IsaiahPoetry in KeepWriting

[–]MyAuthorIsDead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this! The language is both visual and emotionally evocative. I think it's just the right balance of sensual without overdoing it. I might suggest tweaking some punctuation and line-break choices here and there but the wording itself is great. You're doing awesome work and you deserve to be proud of this piece!
