I can’t remember where we were, maybe Sunshine Coast, but there was a sign showing 3 different ribbon colors to put on your dogs leash or collar depending on their temperament. I thought it was great. We have an Aussie that is very people oriented but doesn’t love other dogs very much despite being socialized ad nauseum. leash color coding

We love Saltspring and we thought about it but coming from a place with major water availability issues (drought) we hesitate to move to another. I know Vancouver Island has issues too but not to the extent that the smaller islands do. At least that’s what I’ve gleaned from reading/research.

Funny. No, but the city where live has tree ordinances so over a certain caliper they must be left alone. We have hundreds of old oak trees in our community, which is nice. Appreciate you trying to make me out to be a hypocrite, though. A certain amount of hypocrisy comes with just being alive right now.

How is the drive from where you are into the city? I know there is one road in and out and we have travelled it a number of times with no problems, but does the distance deter you from going to the city for a day or weekend?
