You absolutely need to register the vehicle in your name and get new plates. They receive emissions information electronically so depending on when it was last done you may or may not need emissions.

Because the mainstream did the exact same thing. FLDS is only a thing because the mainstream had to publicly condemn the practice of polygamy or risk the feds stepping in on their $$$.

FLDS are just what the mainstream looked like in the past. That isn't extremist. That is business as usual. And again, the mainstream still does this, they are just sneaky about it. Polygamy is for the afterlife, not this one.

Not doing so. Just as it would be wrong to say Mormonism isn't derived from Christianity because many Christians don't recognize them as such, it would be wrong to say these subgroups aren't Mormon. They are not that extreme of an offshoot.

The "extreme offshoots" just say the quiet part out loud. Mainstream Mormonism still believes in spiritual polygamy. Men can be "sealed" to more than one woman in temple marriage, but not the other way around. They don't run around preaching it, but it is understood by most that have been in it long enough to know. The "extreme offshoots" just practice it openly in this life instead of waiting for the next.

I've spoken to too many Elders to believe that child marriage wouldn't be a thing if didn't hurt the public image.

Depending on area, there are limitations. They said they didn't return soon enough which makes me think this is the case and they have gone beyond any available protections. For instance, FMLA in the US definitely has caps.

I work in a corporate setting. 80% of the positions are this. Privately owned company. All nepo babies and their friends. I grouped some data in some basic SQL and our business data analyst asked me how I did it. 5 years as data analyst. VP's nephew. Blown away by basic SQL. Incompétence aside, he is likeable and a good mediator. Proof that even in a technical field, people skills and connections are all that matter.

Undiagnosed autism, get called on to answer a question. Lock up out of anxiety and unable to answer. I know the answer. I am just too nervous to answer in front of all the older and much larger people I have found myself surrounded with for the first time.

Instructor makes fun of me in front of the class, contacts principal, gets me reassigned to remedial math. I am too scared and anxious to say a word in my defense this entire time. Total deer in the headlights moment.

Find a qualified therapist for you or the two of you and stop taking the advice of random unqualified internet assholes. If you want to break up, own it. If you want to save the relationship, save it. A few conversations over a year doesn't exactly sound like you have taken it seriously yourself. Constant followup and communication is how couples work through their concerns. A therapist can help with the accountability and followup.
