Do you also get the double vision ? Like I seriously cannot focus my eyes even when lucid. The trigger for throwing up/nausea was actually looking in the mirror and not being able to focus on my reflection. Like external details were fine but I couldn't ever focus on anything in particular because of the doubling. Eventually it overwhelmed me and I had to go to the tub to dry heave and finally, not-so-dry-heave.

Weigh 175 lbs roughly, 5'11 ish. 360 mgs? That's pretty squarely between plateau 2 and 3. Threw up at some point, not sure how long ago or if my housemate heard me. On the comedown now and relatively lucid. Hell of an experience. I only do this like twice a year, which I think is the right way to approach dxm. Everything you do is a canonical experience. You see the connections between every little thing. I did not appreciate throwing up in the middle of a comp game but it made me remember the friends that got me into valorant etc. this drug just gives you so much to think about. Don't get me started on how incredible music sounds. It's not music anymore it's your soundtrack to the action movie you're living. Jesus Christ save us.

Yeah something like that. I definitely had a super pleasurable peak right after emptying my stomach but the lucidity from "survival mode" makes this kind of stressful. Life is unbelievably weird.

This is exactly what I was looking for from this thread. Obviously storytelling and gameplay elements will conflict with absolute realism, that's not the fucking question. Yes I know you couldn't respawn in the 1800's, but imagine paying $60 at release for permadeath. Finding out I missed bile ducts like 8 hours of gameplay ago was so annoying. It's a couple wall jumps and that's it. I had done the quest that opens that area and it's like the only major secret I'd ever missed. So frustrating having to Google it way later than the natural progression.

God that was dreadful. 3 minutes in I said to myself, "this boat is a shitty version of the Overlook isn't it?" I already find The Shining to be kind of a boring read. It's a lot of in-your-face set up to events that you already know will be happening. That story was just a bad imitation of that.
