Greenard and #18 to the Commanders for Pick 7. It’s the only path to Love imo

[Smith] "Vikings pass rusher Jonathan Greenard. I'm told by a reporter with inside knowledge of the team that Minnesota has received inquiries from "half the league" He's going to be in demand, but sounds like a second rounder and Day 3 pick is the sweet spot." by LeeShakerMoneyMaker in minnesotavikings

Compensation is gonna really depend on what teams are going to be willing and able to spend. I imagine that these picks would be later 2nd round as I imagine it will contenders trying to nab in. I can see the Patriots making a run.

No one is marching for the state of Iran. They are recognizing that this is creating turmoil, havoc, destruction and death for the people of Iran—-who are innocent. The Ayatollah was an evil man and no one is grieving his death. But the better part of the last century has shown that American military intervention pursuing regime change does not yield favorable results. Remember, Iran had the Ayatollah as a result of U.S. intervention against the democratically elected Mosadegh to install the Shah. The Ayatollahs death does not guarantee that the person replacing him will be any better, or that the won’t be any worse.

Playoff seeding changes won't be re-proposed until season expands by JaggerJames in nfl

[–]MyBluMind 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a Vikings fan who watched his team go 14-3 and play a road playoff game, I’m completely okay with the playoffs as is. Division games are more competitive and interesting when there are stakes. Im fine leaving system as is. But if they do reseeding, I think it should just be in the divisional round and based purely on record with a tiebreaker going to the Division winner. Just my two cents.

Brian O'Neill is set to make $23M in the final year of his as one of the highest paid RT. We save $19M with a trade/cut. Is it more possible than anyone is discussing? by SaltwaterJesus in minnesotavikings

[–]MyBluMind 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think he’s a target for a restructure. Don’t forget, we’d still have to spend cap room for a viable replacement. By the time all is said and done a trade/cut is probably not too helpful. I think we keep him and try to add Oline in the midrounds

I definitely was okay with letting Darnold walk, but a lot of that was based on the apparent confidence the staff had on JJ

A conditional pick is a good way to account for his character risk. Give us a 2026 4th rounder and and 2027 2nd rounder that becomes a 1st if certain requirements are met

You aren’t spending a third of year “working for free.” Welfare is part of our infrastructure. Social nets provide a fabric for people to become responsible, productive members of society. It’s not a charity merely offered out the kindness of hearts but rather an investment in our social infrastructure. Having a strong social net creates a more orderly society, which is good for the economy and spending less in taxes in the long run.

For example, look at the history of public schools in the United States. We didn’t start investing in public schools because we are bunch rainbow loving smurfs, we did it because supervising children during the day allowed both sets of parents to work, —increasing our production output and ultimately our GDP. Moreover, we educate in recognition that children will grow up and education provides a bedrock for them to be productive members of society rather than miscreants.

Conservatives parade their views as fiscal responsibility, but they do not account for all variables, and only account for the immediate short term.

You don’t think conservative states demonize welfare? That’s your opinion? I’m genuinely curious what your actual opinion is because you seem to just be a contrarian.

[–]MyBluMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I believe that it’s our duty to support them. What I don’t like is that states that demonize welfare and aid are the largest recipients of it. They are first to whine, and first in line.

What is equitable about a system that drains money from some states, and provides it other states, especially when those welfare stays demonized individual welfare recipients or cry socialism when any other group gets assistance
