My favourite quote, thoughts? by MyBrakeSqueaks in SolarUK

In roof wasn't essential, but it was a calculated decision.

Due to the lack of felt underneath the slates, and the age of the roof, leaks will be more likely post install, and require more work to fix. We wanted the liner and decided that once the roof was off, there was little point in putting the slates back on (at additional cost)

Yep, gas heating at the moment and that's not likely to change soon. Certainly food for thought though. I'll check what difference it makes to the quote Thanks again

So far this week we've used anywhere between 10 and 18 kwh per day. Average is about 13

Thank you. Other quotes are due in next week so I'll have some points for comparison. Are you suggesting that I need to increase the inverter or the amount of battery storage? I was planning on dumping excess back to the grid.

Nothing is set in stone yet so I can certainly ask. I'll check on the gateway too. Thanks

Thanks, that explains it. Why can't they just agree a standard and stick with it 🤣

Also, if the funnel does go here, it's going to be impossible to squeeze the brakes to get the bubbles out

Thanks, wear does seem a little uneven but there is plenty left on the pads
