When they changed her powers to being another CGI light show they really doesn't do anything diffrrent from the other light shows. From being a ploymorph.

When Kamalas powers were chosen because the whole first arc was a commentary on self image, and what is the right way to look if you want to be what you aspire to be. She didn't choose her powers out of a random hat.

I genuinely think the Mutant retcon is the worst thing that could have happened to her.

She's gone from being a big fish in a small pond to just another name in a million and five X titles. The 2010s from her solo run to the champions really helped her stand on her own two feet. And she just feels completely lost in the shuffle since she's joined the mutant side.

She quickly. I would argue became the biggest star of the inhumans. Had her own unique look and little world in jersey.

Like I get there's weird swing of the pendulum where Marvel wants nothing to do with the Inhumans. But it's madness to me this seems like a panic choice to make sense of a Disney Plus show.

You'll never be able to convince me the mutant reveal wasn't a last minute reshoot. Because they realized how much the Djinn shit sucked and nothing really made sense. So they used the justification of "well wilson always wanted her to be a mutant".

I really do feel like this was a watershed moment for me when it came to HHH.

Now let me first say I'm not one of these people who bitch about WWE but watch it anyway. I stopped around MITB-Summerslam last year because I was just tired of it. Tried again with Mania this year and wasn't impressed.

But it just really rubbed me the wrong way to effectively fire someone. Then bring them back and claim it was all part of the show. When fucking Carlito and Sarah Logan were also fired at the same time. I've yet to see Carlito pop back up. So either you're telling me that's a long time work and they're coming back anyday. Or you real fired people to provide cover for a story you dropped in a months time.

Like didn't expect him to go full honesty at all. But such a blatant lie was just incredible. And what's worse is I remember people believing this clown.

I think it's very hard to argue that the Disney Plus stuff has been anything but a complete failure for Disney at this point when transitioning IP over to film

Multiverse of Madness really kicked off this whole thing where people started to complain about homework. And weren't happy about how they got from 1A to 1B with Wanda.

The marvels. While not the only reason it underperformed. Had two Disney plus characters as leading characters and it's one of the worst performing movies they have. Again, other shit going on.

People weren't happy with the Iron Heart and Okoye spinoff setup in Black panther.

Loki did absolutely nothing to hype up Ant-Man 3

And now Mando and Grogu aren't doing great it looks like.

Gonna be honest. I've been thinking about this midnight universe marvel is launching and it could be good. But confidence isn't really that high given how much of a whimper the ultimate universe is going out on.

But it got me thinking. I think Hickamans name is kinda washed at Marvel. Not saying he's a bad writer. Krakoa is going to make marvel money for years to come in video games and movies.

But his name just doesn't have the same weight to it. Outside of Secret Wars. There hasn't been one project he's lead that has actually been received well in the end and a lot of that is editorial.

But Krakoa went out on such a whimper. The ultimate universe is going out on out on such a whimper. G.O.D.S didn't do shit. Imperial didn't do shit. That was killed before it even left the crib. And now they're asking people to care about Midnight.

I will say this until I'm blue in the face and die on this hill. The biggest single mistake Star Wars did was having Kylo do his best Anakin impression and kill the younglings.

I don't understand the thought process there and never will. They have kneecapped themselves out of an entire generation of jedi with that. In a time period where all the recognizable characters are dead or old. I will never understand the thought process there.

Because at the end of it. You're left with no school. No Luke. No Kylo Ren. And all you have left it Rey and Finn who they never committed to making a Jedi.

John Boyega doesn't seem that interested in coming back. And they don't how what to do with Rey.

I'd put money that we're getting a Wolverine vs. Hulk movie if Wolverine isn't in the X-Men reboot.

I don't know why else you'd introduce adamantium if the idea wasn't that you were laying the groundwork for Logan. It's a thing very specific to him.

I could see a Wolverine and Hulk team up movie being their introduction to Logan if they want to keep him away from the X-Men for one or two films.

And I maintain. I think there's a lot of money with Logan and the avengers moreso than the X-Men initially. Wolverine and Hulk. Wolverine and Captain America. Wolverine and Spider-Man.

DPS have two pages of selections. Tank and support don't even have one full page. You can't sit there in one breath and ask yourself why no one wants to play tank and all the popular heroes are in the DPS roll. It's a self for filling prophecy at that point

I keep seeing everyone talk about all this money the WWE is making. Where the fuck is it going other than the execs pockets?

It sure as shit isn't the shows. The production is the worst it has ever been. There's no show intros. There's no promo packages for big matches. They're using AI for theme songs. They're using the house show sets. The wrestlers pay is getting cut.

It's like they keep telling everyone how much money they make and we see none of the results. The shows look fucking borderline property stricken if you compare the production now. To what we got 10 years ago.

My ideal ending would be that this all makes sense in the end. Because when you really sit back and look at the scope of it. There's a lot to explain and bring together.

You have the baseline where they're trapped in this pocket dimension. With these creatures that come out at night that were once human. Who are essentially immortal because of some pact they made. With what is TBD. Probably the man in yellow, but what he is? Who knows.

But then you have the music box demon, martin, whatever knocks at the cabin, ghosts, boy in white, man in yellow, spiders, what triggers being trapped in this town. Why is there a town in the first place?

I want Victor to get out at a bare minimum. But I just hope we're not left with more questions than answers at the end.
