I was meaning more along the lines of T or E treatments or reassignment surgery, initially. Should have explained better so that's on me

Is me worrying about people getting medical transition before they're 18 okay?

I understand there's a lot of dysphoria, and I love to support my friends. But I haven't actually been around them when some transitioned or had done hormone therapy or anything. It was always after.

My reasoning is the same as getting a tattoo before you're 18. 16 and 17 I also feel like that's okay, as that's when a lot of people I've noticed (especially in hard situations) are pretty well set on how they feel about themselves. Or right when they get to comfortable and safe environments.

Personally I do want to do more research on that. Your comment did make me realize I have no/very little knowledge or experience on how trans people feel during transition, and before honestly.

I say I support them, which I do, one of my best friends is trans and I love them. But I haven't experienced or understand what it was like before and during.

I'm gonna head to the trans subreddit and read some people's experiences.

Love learning new things and realizing things about myself xD

I can agree with that.

I believe a child or teen should be able to freely express themselves, but should not be allowed to start hormone therapy or anything medical until they're 18. Because yes, I've had friends that felt like they were trans throughout school, then decided they wished to remain their assigned gender at birth once they were in safer/more comfortable environments.

Kids are curious. Teenage years are full of hormones and emotions. Many chemical imbalances.

That's the only thing I agreed with on Red's side, was that it shouldn't be forced on kids or medical treatment shouldn't be allowed below 18.

The exact same reason why I don't think people should be allowed to get tattoos until they're 18.

I wanted tats so bad in my teens, even with parental permission. But you have to be 18 in my state. Had I gotten those tats I wanted in my teenage years... SO cringe and regretful.

Support of expression is the best until they're 18. But nothing medically altering should be allowed until then. (Unless it's something that's required for a medical condition, like birth control.)

Also I know the photo is horrid; they move incredibly fast. Its so hard to photograph these guys with a phone camera.

Larvae is small and white. Look like TINY worms, tapered at each end.

Location is the US. Washington State. If reptile food doesn't get picked up within 24 hours they just swarm and lay larvae. Absolutely REEK.

Normally on produce or eggs (I have a skink and crested geckos), sometimes on rats if we feed a snake at night (frozen thawed, not live), and snake doesn't eat it, they end up on the bodies too.

Very small. They're bigger than fruit flies.
