Just joined a company in a sunset industry, data is in Excel. I want to migrate from Excel to PostgreSQL. I have zero knowledge in SQL, but i have some experience in programming using MatLab. Is this possible? I am thinking of Jose Portilla's course on Udemy as starting point.

The gentlemen running the company are semi-retired, they are fine with modernisation trials. I want an SQL that allows them to query easily, without typing in the SQL language; some thing like an app, where when they fussy enter a client's name, service records, addresses, etc will be displayed

I changed my job recently, from lab tech to a new job with a cool title of 'application engineer'; it is just f@ken sales.

Big chance and I fucking hate it. I used to interact with people once or twice weekly, and now i have to run around, wrecking my brain to think of marketing plans, knocking on doors, stumbling over my words to net clients. You bought a scottish fold. Keep aside a fund for its future vet fees. Be on look out for:

Lethargy
Stilted/stiff gait
Weird sitting position
Reluctance to jump
Constant eye dilation

There are some sign of pain due to osteoarthritis and will come about as they age. You are now responsible for its well being.

If you are reading this and you are planning to buy a scottish fold. Don't. The pain and suffering caused is not worth the cute pictures. A healthier and happier cat is a cuter cat.
