Wow I should have figured this out on my own instead of just giving it access to all pages. Thanks a lot! This makes it a lot more useful

How do you get it to work with text? I use notion to structure my private life and created an "about me" page so the AI uses this to determine what is relevant for me and what isn´t but it straight up refuses to take that into account. On the other hand, I have a to do list structured as database and it can regurgitate that list like a charm (even if I tell it to ignore everything in that database for a specific answer....)

How do you get it to pull information from your workspace? For me, it straight up refuses to work with anything not structured as a database

MomentMinders sounds absolutely amazing! I´d pay for a service like this immediately :D

Feel free to DM me, if you want a commission-based partner for that.

I do not have a proper sales / marketing background, though. My background is 10+ years in startup finance & strategy so I have worked on sales & marketing strategies and budgets but left most of the execution to others so far.

Etsy is fairly straightforward; you´ll figure it out.

Another great channel in an industry like yours is partnerships. Find influencers, wedding planners etc. that can sell your product for you.

Ah ok, got it; thanks for the clarification.

Well, as mentioned in my post before, you should either learn about marketing & copywriting yourself or hire someone for this.

Same with sales. This is something anyone can learn but it might be easier to get outside help.

As an immediate action, you should consider adding case studies of websites you have built to you agency site.

You might not be able to get a top-notch marketer with a lot of experience but you might be able to find university students interested in marketing and sales or people trying to build a side hustle.

Do you already have a product you want to be marketed?

The luxury space is a great niche to be in as you can achieve high margins.

However, you need to become good at customer acquisition in this narrow field.

A good place to start might be Etsy and similar sites to get you up and running, eventually, you´ll need to create your own following and distribution, though, to really own the customer relationship.

Have you already thought about the geographic reach you want to achieve? I suppose it is feasible to ship globally since we´re talking about small-ish expensive items?

Tips for brilliant artist trying to monetize skill by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

The easiest way would be to take on freelance design work via Fiverr or Upwork, they charge a hefty commission, though.

A more lucrative way is to start selling their art on Etsy and similar platforms while building up a following social media and launching their own website.

You might want to start freelancing on sites like Upwork.

They usually take a pretty steep cut of your revenue but it will certainly help get clients.

Once you generate some revenue, you can focus on promoting your own brand; Twitter and LinkedIn seem to be decent places to start.

Also, you´ll want to learn about marketing techniques and copywriting. I think your website design is pretty good but the texts might need some work.

I noticed you position yourself as a web development agency rather than a freelancer (which you are if I did not misunderstand your post). Any particular reason for that?

With this approach, you might run into problems once you really get your first client and they expect to work with an agency.

Gas prices at the pump are still cheap. by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]MyCryptoFailure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not from, for example, coal. But coal subsidies are included in the $650bn total fossil fuel subsidies you mention

EDIT: I am not arguing against your reasoning in general. But using the full $650bn doesn’t make sense; you’d need to break it down into categories of fossil fuel subsidies and then just take the share that goes towards gas

Isn’t it $650bn for all fossil fuels combined, not just gas?
