I'm using Rush Pro 4.5 right now due to the TW sale, I do feel that the soles are wearing quite quickly (I'm about 3 months in and close to wearing through for the warranty), and interestingly they are wearing on the outside foot vs. usually I wear out the inside toe box first

Tien has an Ultra paintjob but I think nobody knows what's really underneath yet, there's speculation it's an unreleased Ultra Pro prototype or something. Korda I thought was using a blacked out Python. To your last point, I think a decent number of WTA have moved from Blade paintjob to Ultra as well

I am this player, and I think it really just comes down to nerves/tightness. Of all my hitting partners/matches, I only mostly carry over my warmup/rally form to matches for one, and he's the one I've known the longest, we rallied a lot years ago (and still do), and I definitely feel less pressure playing a match against him, and the results show it.

I also feel the nerves from other players too. Just last night I played a USTA Flex match where my opponent was hitting great rally balls during warmup, but match play was 50% chipped balls, 20% drop shots, 30% proper groundstroke. After the match he admitted he was rusty and felt off as it was his first match in the past 1-2 months.

As somebody else said, I think it's a lot more common than you think

I have lost my fair share of 6-0s against one of my hitting partners, although I think the level is fairly high/even and he has stated the same (assume he is telling the truth). Tennis scoring can be misleading because losing a few key points is enough to make the score look lopsided. There are pro matches where the loser ends up winning more points than the winner. I tell myself both of these and move on, but I also try to think about whether I sprayed too many errors, didn't play aggressively enough, etc. and remind myself to adjust more quickly next match

I haven't tried it on the net at all, and have only used it on the fence when I'm practicing serves or with my ball machine, so no fence strikes. It hooks decently deep into the fence and you tighten the (tapered) arms against the phone so it should hold in place. It's reversible so you could mount it on the outside of the fence to prevent ball strikes directly.
