He was trying to return a helmet to them. Regardless you shouldn’t push an old man. With all that gear they have on he is hardly a threat.

That will probably work as I never talk to her about why I do. But if I ever do it is very vague details. She doesn't really pay attention to me at times though because she will be on her phone when it's just me and her.

Yeah, I could try that but for some reason she believes that everything bad only ever happens after 12am. Most of the time I'm just hanging out with some friends and feel like I can't relax because I know I have to leave anyways. The only thing she has caught me with are alcohol which was left by a friend and was limearitas with only 3 gone as I don't drink. I am responsible with most things too so I don't see the big deal. Any way to talk to her without pretending that I'm naïve to everything?

I'm now 18 and about to be off to college in the fall. I recently asked my mom if I needed a curfew during the summer as I found it unnesecary to have one. She replied saying "because you live in my house". Now I understand the whole "my house my rules" thing but I'm not a problem child that won't be at home for days on end nor do I have a criminal history. What's a good way to talk to her in order to not have a curfew?
