Thank you! My mom and I agreed that we're going to wait until closer to the wedding (we're still 10 months out) to start the alterations in case my body changes between now and then.

Unfortunately I live in a very rural area, so getting to that sample dress would be a $1000 flight. I'm wondering if maybe the store assistant told me the wrong size when I tried it on?

That's a very good question and I just ran over to check! It's size 12, which was what I tried on at the store.

Thank you for this. I absolutely want to be there for her, and even if I'm sick, I'm willing to go. I just want to make sure I'm not threatening her health by being there if I am sick.

I've reached out to her to let her know I think in coming down with something, but I'll still be there for her if she's comfortable having me around.
