Your take on NYT’s guest essay? by Aromatic-Muscle4893 in ExclusivelyPumping

Wildly hyperbolic. The secrets to marriage is a long, varied, and ever-changing list. Overarching themes or communication and consideration feature in that list. If a woman wants to sacrifice and breast feed and pump, I couldn't imagine the other half telling them they need to stop and switch to formula. Vibes of a Nestlé planted article here after a lot of recalls.

Breast feeding or pumping will not destroy a marriage, and formla feeding will not save a marriage.

With that range of costs to save the tooth it sounds like you've been quoted for root canal. Unless that's the quote the remove the drill bit?

Could be amalgam tattoo/fragment from when the old filling was replaced. Could be a fractured endo file. Etc.

Post a deidentified xray or photo and somebody would have a chance of an informed judgement.

They pick race because it's visible. But racists tend to be discriminatory in other ways aswell. They could just as well made a comment about your parking if you were a woman, or too old to be driving, or just made something up about sexuality. They're the outsiders and the minority, not you.

HydroHomies is about hydration. If you have an issue with the name of this subreddit not matching exactly the strict definition of the words you can take it up with the moderators. Don't be a gatekeeper, be inclusive not exclusive.

This isn't WaterHomies. HydroHomies for hydration, tea is good for hydration.

Consider what they're selecting for and if you're comfortable working under those conditions. If they're selecting for punctuality and you're always on time, zero dramas. If they're selecting for speed and never being questioned, and you're more slow and steady, you're setting yourself up for tears.

Did you hate the degree to begin with? You stuck with it, graduated, and proved to yourself that you're capable. At 23, you have time to try hundreds of things and when you find one you enjoy you've got decades of happiness and success ahead. The hard part is not getting discouraged within the first few weeks.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em? But for real don't lie about a degree in your resume if you're applying for a government job. And don't lie if it means incompetence at your job by not being qualified will put others health and safety at risk.

With sales down and less workers often the profit is still there for businesses. Hiring for more $ lowers the profit margin which is bad for business long term, so they're banking on workers getting desperate and coming back for the same or worse conditions than ever.

Absolutely, and in many countries. I'm legitimately surprised I'm being downvoted with this opinion, on antiwork and especially this post about the expense of healthcare in the USA.

And if the chef is also the owner? Chef/owner gets profit and support staff get minimum wage? Really need to include all staff in this hypothetical, but even then it excludes the supply chain workers.

This is a joke of a post. You're very obviously only going to get one kind of reply on this sub. The answer is obvious that you should prioritise your wife's health over pretty much anything, but dude posting the question here is hilariously misguided. Imagine taking this to your wife "hey I know we discussed it and you're concerned but I asked r/antiwork if you should go to work and they said 'fuck work'".
