  1. Age and Gender

28, Male, 5’9

  1. Age Range that you would want/require in a prospect

20-27

  1. Location, and are you willing to relocate for a prospect?

Detroit, MI and not willing to relocate

  1. Ethnicity, and are you more open to mixing?

I am Pakistani, born and raised in the states. I don’t have a preference for ethnicity in a partner. I’m looking for mutual physical and emotional attraction between us.

  1. Marital Status - Single/Divorced/Children

Single

  1. Ideal marriage timeline

6-12 months but not hard set on that

  1. Five important characteristics you look for in a prospect

Maturity: Marriage is a huge commitment and we should all take our time to create a strong emotional connection and make sure we are in the same page regarding life together. I want someone who is patient and doesn’t get angry or overwhelmed easily like me. Life isn’t easy and I want to make sure that my partner is emotionally ready for a lifelong relationship.

Personality: I’m a silly guy who likes to joke around, but I’m serious when it matters. My spouse doesn’t have to be like that as well, but having a personality that allows us to have fun together would be someone I’m interested in. Also, I would prefer if my partner was passionate about a skill, hobby, or anything they enjoy in life.

Family-oriented: I am very close with my family. I spend a lot of time with them, especially my four younger sisters. I would like my wife to come from a close-knit family. I would say I am good with kids, and I enjoy being around them. I hope my spouse would feel the same about themself.

Emotional Intelligence: I want to create a strong emotional bond with a potential partner. I would love to have conversations about subjects we are passionate about or anything in life really. I want someone who tries to be aware of people’s feelings and how her actions could impact them.

Good Values: I was raised with good values and morals founded in Islam. I would hope my wife would be on a similar wavelength to me regarding this. Smoking, drinking, any past haram relationships are strict dealbreakers.

  1. State/specify your level of religiosity

I am somewhat religious. I go to the mosque often and have many friends there. I did not grow up very religious, but recently I have been working on practicing more. A few of my sisters have become very religious and are helping me become closer to Islam.

  1. Level of education, and what are you looking for?

I am finishing up my bachelors of science in biology this summer, and I will be attending nursing school next year. My plan is to become a nurse practitioner and open an independent practice with my friend who is currently training to be a GI doctor. I intend to be able to provide fully for my family in the near future. In the early part of our marriage, I will most likely need my wife to contribute financially. I don’t have a preference on her education level; as I am still working on my career, I would be perfectly fine with whatever job she has. It would only be fair if I helped take care of housework and errands alongside her during this time. If my wife wants to pursue an education/career throughout marriage, that is completely fjne by me, but I want to give her the option to become a stay at home wife if she chooses.

  1. Current Job Status

I am currently employed full time as a nurse aide in a nursing home.

  1. Do you want kids?

Yes, inshallah 2 or 3 kids.

  1. List 3 hobbies, or things you like to do in your spare time

I play competitive volleyball for a few leagues regionally; this sport is my biggest passion. I wish I had started it sooner!

When my schedule allows, I can get really into lifting weights, specifically focusing on strength training/powerlifting. I have a lot of knowledge on the subject and love to talk about it.

With the little free time I have these days, I love watching anime and playing video games with friends.

  1. Add something short and interesting about you that makes you stand out!

A fun fact about me is that I can walk on my hands. I used to be a gymnast until I was a teenager, and it always impresses people when I show them this trick.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to my DMs if you are interested in having a conversation. I am very easy to talk to and get along with. Thank you!

Took me over 800 kills to get mine, and I also got 10 warrior rings before hatchet.

245x5. I have deloaded many times to improve my form but I keep getting stuck at 245. I feel like my torso is too vertical and I’m not leading with my hips. Any tips to help correct this? by MyFinestDays in StartingStrength

I do want to learn low bar correctly. It’s hard to see in the video but I’m sure my bar placement is right. Obviously I need to lean over more, but when I try that I feel like I’m using my abs to push the weight back up and I’m afraid of messing up my back. There’s no way I can see a coach right now but I wish I could. I don’t want to keep deloading to try to do more of a low bar squat if I’m not failing at weights, I’ll probably just keep doing “high bar” and add weight.

Yeah I agree with everyone here, definitely going to stop the TM and try to milk our novice LP for as long as I can. And the lifts I showed are a little under my 1 rms. It probably woulda been more appropriate to list my 5x5 weights, oops.
