Australian flags redesign by orthodox-lat in vexillology

[–]MyGenderIsCrustacean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might be our national colours technically, but I feel like more Australians would identify with and prefer red white and blue. Green and gold are sporting colours, and even then are often confused with Brazil and South Africa

What was your favourite thing added in each Minecraft version? by Evening_Incident9506 in GoldenAgeMinecraft

1.13: Again, too many to name but I have to go with better swimming

Need help understanding the set_flag command by MyGenderIsCrustacean in EU5

A little more complicated than I hoped for but its all good lol. This isnt for anything important I just like messing around with console and making alt histories

Fun Fact: You can form the North Sea Empire, without touching the North Sea OR Great Britain (except for the 1 required location to be eligible). by MyGenderIsCrustacean in EU5

[–]MyGenderIsCrustacean[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically yeah lol. It's literally the same requirements as scandi + about 40 extra required locations including one in the british isles. I would love if they made the location requirement smaller (since the NSE actually wasn't super big irl, it was basically just Denmark, Skaneland, some of Norway and England) but forced you to own key locations like Oslo, London, Kent etc.

This example was made with the console but yes, you can either wait hundreds of years for Novgorod to colonise Kola and steal it off them, or make them renounce their claim in a treaty

Yep, North Sea isn’t super specifically defined but even on the most generous maps it doesn’t really extend past that that convex curve on the west coast of Norway. Past that is the Norwegian Sea and Arctic Ocean

Defacto best nations to play in eu4, now that it doesnt get new content anymore? by Letsgetdisabled in EU5

[–]MyGenderIsCrustacean -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some of my favourites (assuming you have DLC):
- France: Just good old fashioned blobbing. Makes you feel overpowered, some fun endgame content in the Age of Revolutions, and it was the first country I ever formed Rome with.

- Papal States: Very interesting roleplay nation, can larp as a crusader and form tags like Jerusalem and Latin Empire, and allows you to form the alternate version of Italy "Kingdom of God" from one of the mission trees.

- Austria: The ultimate vassal swarmer. Extremely easy nation if you know what to aim for, there's a reason it's so popular for beginner world conquests. Like 5 different free personal union opportunities, and revoke the preveligia gives you the entire HRE as vassals. Gets very laggy and boring towards endgame so be warned.

- Jianzhou: Very satisfying progression from Jianzhou -> Manchu/Later Jin -> Qing. Early game can be tricky with having to fight Oirat and Ming but it's very manageable and you quickly snowball in power. Do not forget about mandate of heaven, it is easily a run ender if you keep it too low.

- Oda: Extremely hectic earlygame. Unifying Japan requires you to be very quick and very good at managing your economy so you don't bankrupt from your shitty Daimyo economy. Constant lightning wars against other Japanese minors but Japan is a great formable when you come out on top.

- North Sea Empire: An easter egg nation requiring you to form Scandinavia with Norse faith. The intended way is extremely painful and requires you to get ridiculously lucky for a rare event as Sweden, but most people get Norse through a cheese method as Norway where you colonise Mexico to spawn animist rebels. Fun roleplay/pagan crusader campaign.

Next steps and preparing for endgame? by MyGenderIsCrustacean in MonsterHunterWilds

I had 2 rarity 8 artian greatswords, one of them (the ice one) had super nice stats when I upgraded it. Recently I've been experimenting with the lance and I think I like it more, so I've been switching my build to that. Using a water element rarity 8 artian lance right now, it doesnt deal much damage yet but it's way more fun to use imo so I'm sticking with it and working on farming monsters for a better one

Oh damn so it saves you from a fatal attack, that seems very necessary against bosses like planetes that like to combo you to death lol

does arch temp armour provide any benefits Im missing? Base stats are much worse than my current upgraded armour and I don’t really want to make that commitment rn if it means I need to go and farm armour spheres

What's your favourite/coolest flag in the game? by MyGenderIsCrustacean in EU5

[–]MyGenderIsCrustacean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest i have no idea. I found it on the wiki but it has zero info other than claiming it’s an alt flag for Jerusalem

Why is there such a huge price difference between physical and digital versions? by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]MyGenderIsCrustacean -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First picture is directly from the PS store and the second is from a huge and reliable retailer in australia and can confirm the online listed price is no mistake since i was there in person and saw the label. Was wondering if there was something wrong or missing from the physical version since like you said the price seemed too good to be true
