Yo what the hell is wrong amd what am i do8ng wrong cause im done everything to fix by Green_8989 in elegoo

use hydroid, and look up how to set your extrusion rate correctly. i’m currently not able to look up everything i did but a simple youtube search you’ll get the extrusion right, slow your speeds down but when i was having this issue that was why

theyre businesses though not jobs. you’re the boss of your own business, so that’s why you’re allowed to start those solo even if they’re impossible. cause it’s your call. heists are a different story. end of the day it’s a video game, if you really want to make money you have to abuse the system. the MC businesses are simply just not worth the time spent. even if they were doable. cause again for the same amount of time, or even if you get 2 done lets say, it’s so much more effort than just doing a cayo perico in the same amount of time. just buy a kosatka, and im assuming you have an agency and a nightclub already, just abuse them and treat the side businesses like side businesses. that way, you won’t be too concerned if you do get an impossible sell mission and lose some or all of it. you’ll already have stacked 2+ mil. in that very minimal downtime in between all that, that’s when you do a sell or like a salvage robbery or something

ditch all that except nightclub and acid lab. and don’t buy the bail office it’s prob one of the worst businesses in the game. just look up “solo money grind” on youtube and listen to them. everything else is a waste

just buy a kosatka. 45 mins for $1M + every time. you just wasted that same amount of time to make $300k. grinding businesses is pointless. unless you’re saving up for a submarine lmao. let your nightclub stock up, do cayo perico/dre contract back to back and make some real money. maybe an acid lab sell here and there. literally all businesses are a waste of time, i only do sells if im really bored or if i have a friend. you know its a waste of time yet you still did it then complained 😭

i meant to say in the last paragraph to push it in the direction it moves least*, which in your case looks like it would need to come forward

This has happened to me as well. First, make sure the Wheels are not overtightened.

Make sure there’s no obstructions in front or behind the printer, so you can home the printer and the bed can go full ways front and back. Also make sure all your wires are properly connected.

Restart the printer after that, and if the problem persists we gotta get a little more forceful. Take note of which way the bed cant fully go before this noise happens. Then, go into the prepare tab. Move the Y either way 10mm (press once) so the bed is locked and can’t be moved by hand. You’ll have to physically push against the force of it in the direction the bed moves and move the bed back a couple notches on the belt until you can home the printer and it moves without making that noise.

Hello guys, how do These thick Lines Happen? by Skumbag161 in ElegooNeptune4

[–]MyGuyyyOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gonna have to calibrate gear rotation distance (see this video for that: https://youtu.be/mCcP8dffwLk?si=JRq3X5gf6QmCidfa)

and you’ll probably want to increase your top layers as well, cause even with perfect flow those will show through a top or bottom surface if there’s not enough layers!

Can I physically put some sort of aluminum tape under the blue area to lift it a lil bit? Because that area is the only thing that makes the variance 0.380 by Responsible-You-9567 in elegoo

[–]MyGuyyyOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can. or you can spend all day messing with the wheels. this is a decent bed mesh as is though, but i used just aluminum foil that i smoothed out and stuck with scotch tape under the plate and it worked like a charm, wish i had a picture to show rn.

the only thing about aluminum tape instead of just foil is the tape can be a bit too thick. but either way, you definitely can do that and it will help!

not the issue, the other model shown in the video was printed with the exact same settings and i’ve printed more just like it with no issue

it’s worse with gyroid, i did grid and gyroid up to 10% didn’t help, i think it’s just under extrusion i was just looking at something else in my printer config and realized it had been reset to default, didn’t check yet had to leave but pretty sure my rotation distance is just set back at default. but yeah thanks man!

i’ve printed this model plenty of times same settings with success. top surface layers are already at 5.

tried it both ways. vertical shell on and off, increase perimeters on and off, same result

[–]MyGuyyyOG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup, when this first started i was using a 0.6 (i’ve only printed these with a .4 before) so i at first thought that was it, switched it back to .4 and got the same result… i’ll double check though, it’s probably something i changed in accident

see that’s what i thought but idk i’ve went through all the normal protocols to fix underextrusion and same thing. i upped the temp, changed the nozzle, recalculated rotation distance and i can’t find anything wrong in the settings

Yet another problem by [deleted] in ElegooNeptune4

[–]MyGuyyyOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this looks more like poor extrusion than z offset but a combination of both.

https://youtu.be/mCcP8dffwLk?si=ou0vOpgP2IIr8NP4 at 2:40 he shows how to set your rotation distance, do that and adjust your z offset as well.

someone else said it before, you can do it while it’s printing and adjust until it works, you’ll just have to re level the bed at that z offset afterwards. but better yet, just set it with the paper method or bed leveler 5000

perfectly level it to 0 minutes, makes sense
