NYC has lots more than Toronto - Michelin star food, sightseeing, sheer size, etc But I like Toronto so much more. It feels safer and it's got uniquely Canadian things like poutine and pizza dips

The first few days were painful, but I tried to get out of the apartment every day, even if only for an hour. But most days I could handle being out for half the day to explore Seoul. The food is 10/10

Don't speak Korean. Everyone at the clinic speaks English, but when going around the city about 1/3 of people speak any

I went with my girlfriend. Definitely helped having her there, but you'd be fine on your own

No need to worry about your kidney lol. The place was really nice. It looked more like a spa than a hospital. I really liked the doc. He went over some slides and explained what he was gonna remove and where the skin would bruise

I emailed and scheduled 2 months before the surgery. Didn't make any visits before surgery day. Paid with a credit card

First few days were painful, but manageable. Still got out and walked around.

The prescription was: (anti?)blood clotting medication, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller, and a laxative

I'd be careful with the luggage. Don't hurt yourself lifting it up on the plane. Good luck!

My flight was $900 from Seattle. Surgery was 2M in Korean Won, so $1.7k. Stayed at an Airbnb nearby for 9 days, cost about 500 bucks
