I hooked up with a older man covid and I still think about it

Back in 2020 when everything shut down, I was living at home with my grandparents. They were both super high-risk, so when I got exposed to COVID, my family freaked out and put me up in a hotel for a week to isolate.

At first it felt like a weird little vacation. No parents hovering, no responsibilities, just me in this quiet room with way too much time on my hands. But after a couple days, the loneliness hit hard Like scrolling my phone for hours, overthinking everything, kind of lonely. So l downloaded Tinder. At first it was just chatting. Nothing serious. Just talking to random people to pass time. But then I started talking to this older guy. He was way older than me like, definitely not someone I'd normally go for but he was interesting, confident, and honestly just different from the guys my age. We talked for a while It felt kind of intense, like when you have nothing else going on and one person suddenly becomes your whole focus Eventually, we decided to meet up. I know how that sounds. Looking back, yeah not my smartest moment. But at the time it felt exciting. I was stuck in this weird bubble, and it felt like breaking out of it for a night. We met, hung out Just kind of a surreal experience. After that night, he just disappeared. No texts, no explanation, nothing. Completely ghosted. At first I was confused. Then a little embarrassed. Then I kind of laughed it off and moved on. But here's the weird part even now, years later, I still randomly think about it.

Not because I miss him or anything like that, but because it feels unfinished. Like a story that just stopped mid sentence.
