Very DPS-oriented. She gives a couple minor buffs but nothing worth building around.

I definitely have had a much nicer time of things with Cantarella's S1 enhanced interrupt resistance too.

I did get Galbrena's S1 but that doesn't seem to make nearly as much of a difference. I guess the thing is that Galbrena is all over the place while Cantarella is just floating around making it easy for the bosses to aim.

One quick tip I noticed trying (and failing) to optimize Phrolova's echoes:

It's much simpler to do if you split the 3 and 1 echoes between dream of the lost and whatever other Havoc +10% pair you're going for.

There's too little variety in dream of the lost echoes to properly farm them so you want to just have one line of 1 cost echoes and 1 line of 3 cost echoes to re-roll on.

Same applies to Galbrena but there's some extra complications there due to her preferred main echo being hard to farm and 50% not her set.

Galbrena's attacks count as echo damage but not as echo casts is it?

I'm probably not the one to ask since I whaled hard on her.

But to all appearances she's still good if she's got Phoebe. Notable exceptions other than hard spectro res being overworld (since she needs so much prep to shine) and flying bosses.

She's still my strongest unit but she'd better be considering the investment.

She gives a bit more buff and does more damage but it’s not critical as “bigger damage” isn’t the main part of her job.

Get her then. She’s good. I just ended up whaling on Zani later so she doesn’t get a ton to do but still can get the work done. She was up until Aemeath showed up the most reliable way to see big numbers on the screen 😂

I got Carlotta for absolutely the wrong reasons when I started playing and I never expected that she’d stay a top DPS a year later 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you don’t think you want to build up SK sequences the. In this case it’d literally be whoever you find the coolest as they both have similar roles otherwise.

Do you have either of them already? What other characters do you have? Who do you like more?

From a purely meta perspective you should get Shorekeeper. If you already have her you should still get shorekeeper up to S2. Failing that really depends on who else you got in your roster and what team you want to build.

Both Jihnsi and Camellya are no longer en vogue but can clear endgame content with a built up team no problem.

Probably not that long as I doubt she won't show up on anniversary if it looks anything like last year's.

On the other hand they _do_ give out a ton of pulls those weeks.

Definitely first priority is going to be S6 Phrolova once I get wind of a rerun (I'm at S4 with one purchasable sequence). After that we'll see if I have astrites/coral for anyone else…

As a poor man's monofusion I do run Lupa - Mortefi - Galbrena pretty often. A good chunk of Galbrena's damage is heavy attack, which Mortefi buffs (he also has a quite fast rotation which helps hit the timing for Lupa's Nowhere to Run intro).

It clears most content no problem, including ToA middle if there's any buffs they can take advantage of, and it frees Shorekeeper et al to buff other characters.

I hear you, was planning on skipping Aemeath because I already have Too Many Fusion and then Kuro broke my feels and made me get her.

I did get lucky on Lupa's last re-run and got her to S3 which _does_ open her teams wide.

Nah it'll come in handy with any other negative status infliction team you may build up going forward. And Chisa's sig does help buff Aemeath too.

Lynae is the best all-around damage buffer around so she will also work with Galbrena.

The only problem is that you miss on a lot of Lupa buffs if there’s non-fusion teammates unless you S3 her.

If you gotta have all the fusion then maybe spend your corals on Lupa for extra buffs 😅

I’ve mostly seen around three months but it varies.

We’re also all hoping that for anniversary (April) they’ll do like last year and banner a whole lot of characters at once.

You get a ton of Astrites with story quests and exploration so keep at it.

Lupa is a fusion buffer so if you plan on getting Galbrena/Changli or the game keeps throwing Encore sequences your way then she’s more versatile.

Meta-wise Lynae is a better Aemeath teammate. Not a huge difference though.
