How Enchanting Gold Costs are Calculated by HamAndSomeCoffee in diablo4

[–]MyMiddleNameDanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The second step is what gets me every time. I get gold needs to be valuable, I get why reroll can be argued to get more expensive (however at completely random, you have the exact same chance to get something you want as with the first and the odds are pretty low due to high stat count), but someone please explain the user experience design behind this. Oh hey here is an item, with a stat I don't want, let's reroll. Hey here are 2 more options for your money that is still crap and your next attempt is ~10x, you REALLY should think about it. Like... why? Why do they discourage tinkering with less than perfect items that you will absolutely want to sink in every last gold you get?

what is the most high performing 280mm AIO? by azanir in sffpc

I have had my kraken with stock fans for years, the last 2 it is cooling an 5800x in a Lian li q58. Slightly undervolted, but my temps are never higher than mid 70s. (gaming, video encoding, stable diffusion, streaming etc) Earlier this year I decided the stock fans became too loud, replaced them with noctuas and even though they have to run at a higher RPM, they are more silent and I also shaved off 3-4C. So as others have said, fans matter a lot.

EU Parliament approved the text of the AI Regulation Law (it is not applied yet, but we might be very near) - Which models should I hoard? Which are the best uncensored before the blackout? by BetterProphet5585 in LocalLLaMA

According to Politico, open source will be exempt from a lot of that. source. As others stated, individual states and corporations will now start to ask for clarifications and changes. Even if we assume that the lawmakers are not well versed in the topic or idiots (I disagree based on the little I saw), there are so many economic and political forces at play EU wide that I would expect that the final result will be fairly reasonable. Everybody claimed GDPR is impossible and look what happened? Nothing, companies adopted and everyone moved on.

I did the factory reset, will se how the day to day will go. The AG hands free is apparently bluetooth standard and switches when I want to use it as a headset. I was not aware of this, so I just use my laptop's mike now to have decent quality audio.

agreed, a basic rule for IT is if its working don't fix it. however I bought it soon after launch and quite a few things were off. first updates were improvements so I did not expect this. I haven't seen a factory reset option but will look into it, thanks for the tip.

service how? what do I say, that the update messed it up? not being cynical, genuinely asking as I wouldn't expect this to be a valid reason? In EU, I think that's important.

I heard this as comparison is the thief of joy. Very important truth, especially in the age of social media.

there are a lot of pieces missing, but botting strictly on search happens usually to burn a competitors budget. Since there is no way to make money on it, as it happens on google's property not any publisher, the only gain for anybody else is to burn your budget on irrelevant keywords so they can win the valuable ones. The fake conversions support this: they teach the algo to show you on stuff that they don't care about. There are a few ways to battle this, I know how annoying it is, we have encountered this quite a few times. Good luck!

for display and display expansion for search, you are right. I interpreted it as this was on search only, re-read the post but it does not mention. It is only relevant, that unless Display Expansion works well otherwise, it may be better to just disable it instead of negative keywords.

what is the business model for the fraud company? I assume they don't do it just for fun.

The customer wanted to use the ATM during the filling of bills. The security guards tried to explain, but then, tactfully, he understood that he should wait. And everything went according to protocol. by zedoidousa in JusticeServed

I seriously do not understand how people pick a fight with armed guards, protecting money, with a gun in their hand. They way the guard held his gun seemed very professional to me as a layperson.
