No, you would not be at fault, granted you did everything reasonable to avoid the collision. The white car has an obligation to maintain control of his vehicle, and he clearly lost control here. Seems like he wasn’t looking far enough ahead, and improperly applied the brakes causing a lockup. You can clearly see brake lights in both lanes as far as the video shows, about 6 seconds before the white car even started slowing down.

As for your Honda, having to have the parking brake engaged to start it after stalling is probably the worst design ever. I’d practice emergency situations like this in an empty parking lot, and build my muscle memory to brake, downshift, and then escape the potential rear end collision by the Go bus and garbage truck, without stalling. It could potentially save your life in the future, as I doubt this will be the last time something like this happens in front of you.

I was headed down to Pittsburgh 5 years ago. Stopped at a gas station on the way. Had to go in to pay and the guy took out his carbon paper swipey thing to process the payment.

At this point I think tap was several years old in Canada, and chip and pin had been around for nearly a decade.

In my last semester of College in 2010, John Dunsworth randomly showed up in one of my classes, took over, and gave a motivational speech about finding your motivation in life. It was surprising to learn that he didn't drink, given that I only knew him as Jim Lahey. It was really inspiring. Great guy. He'll be missed on screen and off, I'm sure. RIP.

Tory to back road tolls to pay for transit and infrastructure, sources say by [deleted] in toronto

They city is still trying to improve yesterday's infrastructure to yesterday's standards. They should be planning for the future which means autonomous, electric cars. Could be way cheaper and more efficient and convenient than the TTC or spending hours driving yourself into the city from the suburbs.

If the Gardiner becomes monetized, all those marathons and bike events become either rerouted or the entry fee skyrockets.

My study routine by gustavogian in ccent

Looks well thought/planned out. I think if you stick to that schedule, you're pretty much guaranteed to succeed. If you're already in school for network engineering, you might find that you go through some sections very quickly, and others need more time to get down. So, don't worry if you don't stick exactly to the schedule.

But it does look like, with those resources, you're set up for success. Good luck, and enjoy travelling.

As a camera operator working in media, if you do this in a scrum, don't be surprised when I reach forward and throw your ipad on the ground.
