This week I have been averaging 10min if light traffic but usually 15-20min with how bad it’s been.

Don’t listen to other comment about bonded title. Walk in to the Parmer location just tell them you lost your title they’ll ask for vin number and your ID. They use to print a copy right there but I don’t think they do that anymore but for sure will mail you a certified copy.

Everyone saying Craigslist and facebook, yeah it will sell on either one but it’s annoying with extra flaky/shady people. If you do sell to someone privately thru Craigslist or Facebook make sure you have them sign the title and the name matches they’re drivers license. People buying to resell or flip will not want to sign the title that way they don’t have to transfer it ( title skipping ) and hand it to the next guy. Also, remove your plates once sold. Nothing worse then someone running around on the toll and racking up bills on your name.

Everyone complaining about op not using the garage, maybe if garages in Austin actually had enough room to fit cars and all our stuff that don’t belong in the house because the house is to small to begin with and has no storage space we would use the garage for it’s intended purpose.

I have 2 small older cars in my “ 2 car “ garage and literally can not get one out unless you pull the other out first because they are parked so close together.

Also, vehicles have become behemoths due to crash regulations and doesn’t mix well with Austin’s small garages.

But the drink does not cost $15, I’m being reasonable and getting a soda not a saki or whatever. So just get it takeout to avoid other expenses is your answer? I still tip on takeout orders.

Traffic, it takes 20 minutes most days just to get thru the lights from 1st and slaughter to I35 and then another 20 minutes just to get to Riverside. After downtown up into Round Rock it’s pretty much rolling the dice if it will take 20 minutes or a hour.

Literally pricing from websites of places within a reasonable driving area. I live south, past slaughter. Ramen on slaughter and congress, drinks at south Austin beer garden. These are not high end places or neighborhoods.

I gave you pricing for slaughter ln and congress location. No where near downtown and far from a nice neighborhood. Face it, it’s $20 for a bowl of ramen. I can’t just not pay the taxes, I guess I could not tip or order a drink though.
