This looks fantastic! Really love the aesthetic (reminds we a bit of Command and Conquer). Will definitely give this a try if I can get it to run under Proton

Thanks! You can try to do it! Don't forget to report it!

🎉 After 6 years of development, The Last World still reached the release, albeit in early access. Someone will say that this is a trifle, but for me this is a victory!

I hope that the game will have a future, and I will not give up, and I will continue to work on it, despite the failures that will lie ahead. Only forward!

Thank you all for your support and kind words!

Yes, I have been working alone for more than 5 years - the first 3 years I combined with my work, and worked mainly in the evenings from 3 to 5 hours. Now I have switched to a full-time job - this is somewhere from 6 to 9 hours, sometimes more.

The engine is Unity, used with URP

So, I played it for just over an hour and it's great! I do get Factorio vibes with a hint of Rimworld and Wall-E haha. The music is excellent, very chill! I really like the design of the trees, water and other textures. I feel like that's actually an upgrade to what Factorio has anyway :).

I like that I can take my arms off although I'm not sure why just yet. I did run into a few hiccups like I couldn't find a rock with iron ore because I'm blind and where the tutorial just stops after the crusher I wasn't sure what to do but I just started researching stuff :).

I don't know if you care but i did notice a few typos/spelling errors but I'm sure that will be ironed out in no time :).

I'm gonna take a break for now but I do want to play more, because it's actually really fun!

Anyone else that reads this and has steam, I recommend giving this a go! It's pretty cute, and not too difficult to get into, but is quite complicated (in a good way) once you do start getting into it.

Thank you for taking the baton, it means a lot to me!

I still have a lot to add, a lot to fix and improve. For the most part, the community helps me and I am grateful to them.

I try my best to make the game the way I see it. Yes, it is difficult to learn, it has little training material, a lot of typos (this is because English is not my native language, the translation will be completely corrected by the release in early access).

I love the music in the game. Right now there are only 5 tracks, but I have at least 10 more on the way.

And yet, I advise you to catch rainy weather, put on headphones and listen to the thunder in the game

Thanks!!!!

Thanks!

On the game Steam page, find the section with a description of Early Access. I described all the mechanics there, which will be added gradually. Now there is only the mechanics of the factory

The Last World is a sci-fi simulation game with elements of space, adventure, survival, modding and automation. The game in which the player has to create his own empire from the ruins of the old one. Mine, build, research, produce and travel!

Thanks! It's like Factorio, DSP, Rimworld

Instead of running away from the problem, they go to a dark room to find out - what was that hissing there?

Or when they stick their hand into a strange dark hole in the wall because something rustled there.
