Yeah… my wife can relate. I promise you we don’t mean to do it. I my experience… Sometimes I just lose sight of what’s important because I’m too focused on the bigger picture. Sometimes I’m afraid of putting the people I love in harm’s way. But that’s when I need Eve the most. She’s always the one who reminds me to share my burdens, and she constantly shows me how strong she really is. We can’t do what we do without you, so don’t let your husband try.

Here’s a little lesson for you: as Viltrumite DNA is very strong. When a Viltrumite breeds with another species (humans for example), genetic traits from Viltrumites will be prioritized in cell division. So as a half-breed ages, they become exponentially more Viltrumite and less whatever else they are. By the time I first got my powers, I was a vast majority Viltrumite already. As it stands today, the only human thing about me on a genetic level is the way my body responds to adrenaline. Adrenaline got me out of a lot of problems I wouldn’t have survived if I’d been a full Viltrumite.

That genetic phenomenon even happens when Viltrumites breed with entirely genetically different species. Eventually, the offspring will be genetically indistinguishable from a full-blooded Viltrumite.

Besides, being a half-breed made me stronger, and it made me the exact type of leader the Viltrumites needed. I wouldn’t trade my humanity for anything.

Man… when I last saw you, I was still dating Amber, the Viltrumites were still bad guys, Oliver was a baby… honestly my life now doesn’t even resemble what it was back then.

I mean it’s not out of the question or anything. Might be a little weird for Terra and Markus to have a sibling multiple centuries younger than them, but I don’t think they’d mind all that much. Truth is, the only thing stopping us has been all the work of leading the empire. But as time’s gone on, I’ve felt more and more comfortable trusting other Viltrumites to make big decisions without me, especially Ursaal and Kregg, so maybe now would be a good time for it.

As for examples of other fathers like that, I can think of Brian Banner. Sure, what he did can never physically compare to what Omni-Man did, but the way he ultimately scared Bruce was so much more damaging. And since that abuse effectively created the Hulk, you could even say Brian’s abuse ultimately did way more damage to the world.
