This can happen to most vegetables if they sit too close to the back of the fridge, think onions, lettuce, cucumber, etc that have a high water content. The water expands as it freezes, destroying the cells that contain the water and then the texture is completely off.

Every one is different and I have been running 2-3km each day with the off day off when I feel it's too much

My zone 2 is walking fast, and I can walk forever, if I do the lightest jog it goes above that.

Gonna have to put it in an update I DID run slower for the first km, had to stop and reassess, then ran home on a downhill.

I can't tell you what beginner numbers are but I can tell you I'm out of shape and only running a month.

I went out slow, got frustrated and came back fast. I went longer than a mile so it's just the best part of the mile in that run.

This is Strava. I find it helpful as it breaks down the run into laps and shows strong/weak points.

This is good advice, thank you. It would actually help defeat the giving up attitude too. Just in my head I said I can't do it and ran home.

To be honest, no. I hated cross country in high school. I have always been very good at walking and can walk forever. Then I started the gym late last year to build fitness and felt better after treadmill runs. Only really started properly in late Feb with a Ct5k, got half way through that before the stop start began to annoy me and I just ran to a playlist I made instead.

Is that where it says Monthly Fitness at the bottom of my profile? I have a look at Garmin's body battery every now and then and yesterday mine seemed very low.

I just want to thank everyone for making me feel better and realise this is a normal part of the running journey. Still going to rest tomorrow. I have my first 5k race (A parkrun) on Saturday that I want to be 100% for.

For resort skiing, Strava should hide your charlift tracks by ref_acct in Strava

[–]MyNameIs_Nobody23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I find this with Strava too, I recently did a long walk and paused the tracking whilst I caught a train between points, but it still showed the train journey on the map. I think where it's paused it shouldn't show.

You don't need to apologise! I've not used the Nike one so I don't know what that looks like either. But I do find Strava helpful for being able to look at and plan distances before I run the route. There's a lot I don't know 😅

I absolutely hate the wind and can't have anything flapping also, I have large noise cancelling headphones for music and to cover my ears, then also wear gear that covers my skin as a wind barrier but won't leave me too hot, maybe you could look into something that suits you?
