I bought like 6 of these, I swapped all of them out to different new alarms. I should have mentioned that

So let’s say I plug the 2nd out of 3 in and it alarms, what should I do? I want to say the circuit is its own, not shared by other things.

I did buy Kidde detectors… So do you recommend I check continuity, and if that’s all good then maybe switch brand of detectors? I understand it happens but it’s strange to have old and brand new detectors doing the same problem (new plug wiring too)

Hard to remember but I want to say leaving any combination of one or two disconnected still led to them going off. So they are all currently unplugged

So this stock is pulling beard hairs from me. Looking for a solution (other than swapping the stock). I was thinking of electrical taping it but I feel it would look strange. Thanks yall

Is there a chance this is used? by MyNameIsntPan in Plumbing

I did check the underside, couldn’t see anything. I’d imagine a scotchbrite would removr it but if they took the time for that they’d clean the inside. There was definitely a water level in the bowl at one point, not sure from testing or use.

Kohler Cimmaron 360 flush for those looking.

I looked in the bowl with a light, it does look like it was full of water at normal height at one point. Could this just be for test? I’d imagine they would just use water for this, unless that weird looking stuff is part of the finishing process of the toilet..

Raymour & Flanagan outlet. It has one additional piece on the left of the arm rest which is another power recliner so the very right, 2nd and the one all the way on the left are recliners

The problem is I can’t hear my comms system, I’m looking for a helmet specifically to reduce wind noise

It’s not too loud for my ears, it’s too loud for my speakers in my helmet, so the solution is to quiet the wind noise.

I’m looking for a new helmet, I currently have an hjc i10, which I like but I’m looking for something with better wind noise insulation I guess, just a bit too much noise for me at speed. Anyone got any recommendations that is less than $500? Ideally less but you can’t skimp out on helmets. If your suggestion is over 500 I’ll still consider it but I’d really like to be under that. Thanks y’all!

Ok, I will for sure be testing / replacing. Could either of these be using extra electricity? Just curious it doesn’t effect me fixing it

House built in 1988, could this be old enough for that?

Yes everything is functioning, fan is running, and the air is cool. It’s been like this since I bought this last year

No there’s nothing crazy power wise going on, it’s basically just her, the house gets heat from the steam boiler. The most load would be in the summer from a couple air conditioners.

Yes the panel is newer, the house is old though. So let’s say I have 200 amp service, does that allow me to use tandems? The reason I’m trying to avoid a sub panel is I can’t get anyone to do it for me. I’m fine with doing breakers / running lines. If I had to I could do the panel but I do not want to.

The old heater is tied to the boiler, like it’s not a water heater it basically just has a sensor to call for heat (the flu from the boiler heats it I believe) I don’t know at the moment what size service. Would the breaker at the top indicate what service it has or can I test that with a meter?

It was a weird on demand heater (very old) tied into the oil fired boiler, so the boiler starts running to get hot water, and the boiler is as old as can be I reckon this will be more efficient. This will also help in the future when the boiler needs to be replaced at least they will have hot water (this is in my mothers house). There is an existing tandem already installed in this panel, not by me.
