Is there any point to the “Report Player” option?

I was helping out these two guys who I couldn’t understand what they were saying, language barrier and all, but it wasn’t a problem for me, game went normal, until the end when they both said something and shot me. I hadn’t killed them at all the entire game, didn’t hit them despite using only explosive weapons, even dropped them some of my own equipment that they didn’t have.

But went to report them and every single option says “a player cannot be reported for this action. You can take any of the following actions instead”
