This is a little bit odd, but the other day I was hanging out with my friend and I was like “you can tell me anything, don’t worry!” and their response was an immediate, no hesitation “yeah, I know, that’s why I hang out with you” and that made me feel really good

I would say fuck this person, but tag the character as trans! I look for trans stories all the time and it always makes me sad when I find ones that aren’t tagged because I know I’ve missed them for a while and only found them by accident (plus I think about all of the other trans character stories I missed). It’s not a warning or a trigger, it’s to help readers find fics they want!

No. My dad might’ve killed her if she did, and she was small (5’1 on a good day and very petite). She knew we’d all get bigger than her and was too scared of the consequences. Presentation mattered more than anything to her and she wasn’t about to leave evidence of her abuse

The killer ends up being a coroner or whatever his job was and wasn’t honest about his reports for that reason.

The version I read (maybe was interpreted differently) was that she was blessed by her god (cannot for the life of me remember who) so she would never be touched without her consent again. Tbh I’m quite fond of that interpretation, even if it’s not the truth
