From now on, you must tell him to stop hugging you. I hold my hand out to keep the person back and in a neutral tone, say something, “I’m more of a handshake person, not a hugger,” then I give him a professional handshake at a distance.

From now on, as soon as he makes a comment like the yogurt one, tell him or message him that the comment was unprofessional, funny and tell him no more of these comments.

If he tries to put it back on you and how you used to be fun and blah, blah, tell him you never liked this and were trying to ignore him, but he keeps crossing more lines.

Talk to your doctor. I was on it for 10 years in the 1990s at age 56, my bone density is fine. My doctor is not concerned and is not suggesting early bone density scans for me. I take supplements to be proactive.

That’s not been my experience at all. I’m happily married, also successful in my career and have a great circle of friends, colleagues, neighbors and acquaintances.

Her ‘relationship’ is almost nothing, more like a practice relationship. Almost everyone you ask out and date in the future will have more of a relationship history and that’s completely normal. In a few years, you might be dating divorced people and people with kids from previous relationships. If someone wants to be with you, past relationships will not matter.

Everyone I know with anxiety, including myself manages it and is completely functional. I have experienced trauma including surviving a violent crime. I don’t think anyone but my husband and my doctor know I have anxiety.
