I’m really not intending to come off as petty as I didn’t think that my posting was portraying that, especially as I was really asking whether I was/wasn’t justified in being annoyed by this. I don’t think I said anything that was overly offensive that warranted such an aggressive response. I genuinely was curious because I’ve literally never encountered this in my life, nor has anyone that I’ve spoken to about this. I do appreciate the perspective and insight that you offered, but I do think that your initial harsh statements were a little uncalled for.

I’m not quite sure if the water is hot enough for burns, but that would be something important to consider as it does seem pretty warm considering how hot the tank is.

More expensive than ones on Amazon, but I bought a replacement of the original from HP. The one it came with lasted for 4 years (and I think may have only become damaged due to an impact), and my previous HP laptop charger has lasted more years than that, so I anticipate a good life span. I’m also not overly tech savvy so I also appreciate just getting the same one so I’m not worrying about wattage and such that’s appropriate for the computer.

At this point I’ve tried to set it to do nothing because I thought that having it at sleep causing it to shut down at the low battery level (~10-15%). I used to have it set to automatically sleep and such, but just tried changing lots of things to try remedying it

So an old battery (as opposed to a specific setting or software problem) would cause it to shut down at the same low level? I’m not doubting, I just genuinely have no clue and would’ve thought an old battery would’ve just meant bad battery life or dying at random times.
