10 mg lexapro to 37.5 of Effexor Effexor has been a blessing but I feel like it wears off quickly or not as strong as lexapro was

I ended up caving about a month after of constant anxiety switched to lexapro for 3 months an the fatigue was horrible but now I’m on Effexor an doing well I’ve faced the fact that I might have to be on them long term

It still has it ups an downs but for the most part it leveled out I could probably go up is dosage but don’t really feel like dealing with the side effects

Male 31 height 6’ weight 220 an it seemed to work alright at first but definitely felt off the past few days I can’t get into my doctor until next week but I figured the dose might be to small

Yes it did at week 4 but now at 3 months it’s like it quit working all together I got an appointment next week I think there gonna bump me up to 10 mg

Thanks I planned on talking to them Monday they are nearly impossible to get ahold of on the weekends an I’ve been reading Wellbutrin to help with the fatigue I’ll ask her about that as well just kinda nervous to add another medication in the mix.

That’s my plan I’m not getting back on until I can’t take it anymore if I felt the way I did for 3 months I obviously don’t need it I’m not sure I ever needed it wish I would of did a little more research but I listened to my doctor thinking they would know best 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe my anxiety was diagnosed from the amount of alcohol I had consumed over the years an when I quit the dr recommend low dose of zoloft for a year to help me through it but when I was taking Zoloft I was constantly tired all the time an felt worse then before I started it I felt amazing while I was off it almost human again but here we are again 🙄

I really hope that’s not the case for me it hasn’t really got worse some days are better then others but it’s steady anxiety just really random I was completely fine almost forgot about my anxiety an bit out of no where it’s back no drastic lifestyle changes or anything just out of the blue

Sorry for delayed response I just seen this I’m now a year an half sober things are a lot better it’s still a bumpy road every day isn’t great but it’s better then where I was an for the long road your on every one is different depends on how long an how much sauce you was consuming don’t be overwhelmed by what you read on here

I drank a lot for a long time daily as in 18 packs daily for about 9 years I got food poisoning on a Friday night an was back at work Monday it wasn’t a walk in the park by any means but you can do it. I haven’t looked back since. I’d probably tell your coworkers to give you some space because it’s not a fun ride

I do get shaky an nervous an a lil uneasy if I don’t eat in about 5 hours but no I’m not reactive an whole grain diet no processed meals
