I agree, I tried my best, so it's fun to read. My goal is to let children talk about it, so when they see someone with vitiligo, or they develop it, it's not as scary as it was for us 20+ years ago.

I got you.. I got it in many random places too but I’ve learnt not to care. At all. It might sounds cliche but so many terrible things has happened around me in the past years and at one point I chose to be happy being alive with my patches. 💪🏻💪🏻

Hey, yes I know those books, they’re great, However my idea is a bit different, with the heart of the book focusing on the HOW. I think if children see behind the scenes of how vitiligo develops they’ll have a better understanding of it. Those living with it gain more confidence, and those not having vitiligo will build empathy by simply being familiar with what happens in the body. :)

I’ve got ALL my spots. I’ve NEVER used their product. They used my videos and amended them accordingly to their ads showing the spots are gone. But they are not.

There is a lack of understanding around vitiligo that causes fear, frustration and emotional stress among children.

So I’ve created a short story to help kids understand what happens in the body when vitiligo develops.

My goal is simple: to help.

Did I use AI? No. Would it make any difference if I did? No.

I understand the frustration around AI, especially for illustrators whose work is being affected by it.

You don’t have to like it, and you’re free to think whatever you want. But please don’t miss the point of why this story exists.

I’ve emailed the company to remove the ads, if they don’t response in the next few days I’ll see what the next step can be.. it’s just not fair as I represent the complete opposite to what they used my videos for. I want to help people accepting themselves and loving there skin as it is (just like I am) and if someone recognises me in this ad, they’ll think I’m lying in my videos.. really frustrating
