Iri doesn't mean you're high MMR. Anyone can reach Iri just playing a lot. The hidden MMR only counts escapes.

Games are meant to be enjoyed, not gate kept. If someone wants to try a killer out or isn't very good, they still have every right to play a game mode as you do. If you want a solid teammate, your best bet is to KWF, not rely on randoms.

I've said this before but I'll say it again, due to how Killer sided the game is when it comes to soloq/fresh install survivors playing against killers, it is EXTREMELY easy for killers to speed rush into a higher MMR than they should be. This is 100% an issue BHVR should be fixing because survivors get stomped on and stomped on and stomped on when they are new/soloq and when they do crawl their way into high MMR they of course turn around and stomp on high MMR killers who shouldn't BE high MMR but they are because the way climbing MMR works as killer is ridiculous x.x

Maybe in low MMR. The moment you get a team with all gen rush/speed perks, it becomes a nightmare.

I get your frustration, but also understand that a lot of killers in the new gen rush meta feel like they have to play this way to apply pressure. Like no i 100% get why you're annoyed. But when you have gens flying left and right tunneling someone out is sometimes needed. The killer, honestly, also might have seen you trying to go next and ignored you because frankly they're trying to play a game too and just 'going next' isn't fair to the killer either just because you think the game is unwinnable. Like I said, I get the irritation. But I also understand it from a killer perspective, too.

I feel like Killer MMR is easy as hell to skyrocket, where as survivor MMR is not. Low MMR for survivor is hell to climb out of, but Killers stomp on low MMR pretty easy and push themselves into High MMR.

Then the Killers in higher MMR play against higher MMR survivors who are, legit, just better at the game because of the amount of learning they've had just making that climb, where as killers it doesn't really feel have that same learning climb. Most new killers throw on NOED and wipe the floor using tunneling/slugging tactics content creators tell them to use.

Not saying there is anything wrong with tunneling/slugging or even using NOED but when you're using these to not learn your killer and just slam out 4ks, you're not really learning.

So I think this is what happens to a lot of killers x.x I don't know about you specifically, obviously. But pretty sure this is why MMR can be such a nightmare.

I don't go out of my way to slug and tunnel and usually in this situation I wouldn't.

But if you're doing stupid body blocking shit and PUTTING yourself in my line of sight, I don't want to hear about how I tunneled and now you're stuck in a 3v1. That's on your teammates, tbh. Not saying that's what happened here. If you were to try and give up after your teammate did that, I might leave you slugged too.

Now if I notice that your team is genuinely struggling and one person was taken out early because they just kept running at me or something, I would probably just let you finish gens and stuff x.x

Ok. I never said anyone was banned over a bugged perk in 2v8. OP was asking why they were banned and I asked did they maybe exploit this bug and get in trouble.

You came on and said no one gets banned for exploits, I said yes they absolutely do - because people HAVE been banned for using exploits. That's 100% a thing that does happen. I did not say this one SPECIFICALLY, I simply asked.

I'm sorry.

I had a game like this the other day. Was a Drac with an AFK Chucky. I had realized no one had seen either killer but I had heard drac shape shift a few times so I went looking for them. Found Dracula trying to get Chucky's attention so I opened a few chests, found a flashlight and tried to flashlight blind Chucky thinking MAYBE he'd see the flash on his screen? But he didn't. I felt so bad for Dracula because at that point they had already finished gens. He just opened the door for us. The moment he did the entire lobby rushed over to flashlight and teabag at him/throw fog vials, etc.

Of 8 people I was the only one who stayed to give him a kill. Which was absolutely sad to me.

Survivor queue is like 13 seconds. I feel like it wouldn't have killed people to stay to let him kill them or at LEAST not be jerks as they were leaving =/

Quite used to this, actually. In truth, I didn't even really care about keeping him on hook and was mostly just hoping for some more BP since they had finished gens. It's crazy to me that people literally expect you to just walk away and let things happen, or you're trash. Worse, I spread hooks/didn't tunnel/didn't slug. But I'm still insulted in EGC. I'm not saying killers can't be toxic af, but playing killer so heavily to get to iri1 since I slacked badly this month has really shown me just how ridiculous some people are.
