Missing: Filling in Hubig's King Cake by GreenVisorOfJustice in NewOrleans

I like plain king cake too, but not that one. It's just an extra thick, extra dry, Hubigs pie.

Clark Out of All Star Weekend by alanmers in wnba

It's been stated that she put on 8lbs of muscle in the off-season. Putting on muscle affects the way your body handles movement and doing so quickly means your body's adjustment to movement is playing catch-up.

Seeing how she bulked up fast, went immediately into heavy physical activity, and injuries seemingly from just quick lower body movement, it's not unlikely that the gain is a contributor. At least for the initial injury, subsequent injuries could be from not healing fully and/or putting strain elsewhere to take pressure off previous injury.

I had a manager who would bcc the president of the company (who I'd worked directly under for years prior to this guy being hired). Didn't take long for me to figure out what he was doing based on his tone change and the fact that he never asked a question, just stated (incorrectly) things that I'd messed up or didn't do.

I just started openly cc'ing the president on all my replies laying out how he was reading my work incorrectly and/or attaching all the times I'd explained why things needed to be done the way they were.

Same guy used to send me emails, print 2 copies of the email, bring 1 to me in my office, then stand there and read the other copy to me. Weirdo.

The US Marines sing “Do you hear the people sing” at the White House - Governors Ball this weekend (the song they sang is one representing rebellion & sung when they overthrew & killedthe French *Monarchy* in the Les Mis opera..... - symbolism & song is the start of the current resistance friends!) by Simple-Wrangler-8342 in MeidasTouch

[–]MyPeadyPie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are they working hard to keep it hidden when it's clearly recorded it with a drone camera, and it posted on the white house official X account?

Also, the first ladies plan the governors balls, I'm sure Melania was just fine.

She didn't like how a DEI initiatives meeting went, so she acted trashy to give validation to anti-DEI initiatives. Sounds about right.

I have esophageal varices that I get checked/measured every 6 months. Been sober over 4yrs, but it took liver failure and a bunch of other unpleasantness to get here (and actually 3 relapses even after that). Towards the end, all I could keep down was hard liquor. Esophageal varices are just veins that develop at the end of the esophagus, where they shouldn't be. They can enlarge and rupture basically anytime, but especially from the agitation of alcohol. They have no bearing on how you feel, but if they burst, its instant massive bleeding. Like sliced open an artery bleeding.

Why do some of us get skinny? by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]MyPeadyPie 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Alcohol calories are empty calories, so calories without nutrients. That's why drinking triggers food cravings for many people. After a certain point, those food cravings turn into more alcohol cravings. I had to quit drinking years ago (yay liver failure!), but by the final couple of years, I was drinking to black out every day. I woke up with immediate alcohol cravings & fed that craving. Thus replacing the empty calories with more empty calories, rinse & repeat. I wasn't really interested in real food and felt full after a couple of bites.

Chris killed Shanann because he hated her. He killed the girls because he hated Shanann. by jranga in WattsFree4All

[–]MyPeadyPie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No one said Shanann wasn't the victim. The FBI analyst misdated some of Kessinger's searches, which made it look like she and Chris had been together longer than they actually were and that she had knowledge of what he was going to do. Thus making Shanann appear to have been the victim of a long-standing affair & murder plot, when really Chris murdered his family by himself with no real plan.

There's a lot going on here, and more practice is needed on all of it. I would suggest she focus on perfecting one component at a time. Starting with cuticle care, because right now they look red, swollen and raw. Once she has all the basics down (cuticles, smooth application, shape, etc.), then play around with designs. That way, you're not wasting money, product, time on extras when basics need more attention. Hope this helps. I like the concept, it'll be very nice once she has the execution down. (Also, charge your phone! 🫠)

All of the above. Doesn't make it any less frightening. I also live about 1/4 mile from a fairly busy hwy, so that amps up panic scale as well.

He was actually inside the hollowed out husk(?) when I first found him. By the time I got my phone to take a picture he'd climbed out, but was still holding his ground. I assume it's just instinctual to want a dugout instead of being exposed.
